Nah, double lifesteal really sucks when you can replace that with a better defensive item. She gets a lot of free stats, so why would you want to buy more AD when you can get something like a Visage?

Sydtko has a pretty good Fiora guide, although it's outdated and going to expire for s4.

It's not so much the guide as the sheer ignorance shown by people in the comments section that are getting this downvotes.
I mean NEVER getting magic resist on a top laner? Not even when you're 50 minutes into the game, with no CDR and getting bursted constantly?
Never mind that Trinity force works well with Darius, Aatrox, Jayce, Nasus, and none of them need the 30 AD or AP either.

It's actually a decent guide, Thornmail is viable in some situations. However a BT, Berzerkers, not having a skill maxed at 9, and maxing e second ruin this guide. Malphite is also probably Fiora's best counter.

No one is being a **** about it, but you are being extremely dense about it.

No one is dumping in 4000- gold into just the 30 more damage. Will you look into things for the proper context? TriForce is an extremely gold efficient item because of the variety of stats it offers. You get 200% bonus physical base damage from spellblade, you get crit, AS, AD and MS from it. Okay, I'm not advocating you buy this item on Fiora, but your reasonings for not taking the item is mostly off.

Ugh, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. There are plenty of top laners who will deal magic damage ( Jax, Elise, Vladimir, Kennen, Rumble), but even if there weren't, there are OTHER LANES AND A JUNGLER who can/will deal magic damage. It's not particularly common to see full AD team comps and even if you did, 10/10, Randuin's Omen is a better item than Thornmail.

You can write more guides if you want, but if this guide is anything to judge, they will continue not to do well.

While SOME was constructive, in that everybody got upset over me not using Flash, most of it was hateful. Although, yes, Fiora does have 100% AP scaling in [riposte]], you shouldn't really dump 4000 gold into Trinity Force just to give you at most 30 more damage. AP top laners aren't common, so choose armor over magic resist, unless you're playing against an AP top laner. I do max Riposte first, then Burst of Speed, then Lunge, like you said, and as you can see. I choose Bloodthirster simply for the higher amount of raw damage, although the lifesteal isn't bad. Finally, I don't play ranked much, mostly because of the end of the season happened by the time I actually got all my runes purchased. I managed to make Bronze II within in a day or two, and didn't play much, since Season 3 was ending a day or so later. Yeah, it's not the world's greatest guide, as you guys have no problem telling me. However, you'll keep seeing these guides unless you can offer constructive criticism. If you're willing to offer a polite, but forward issue in my guide, feel free to tell me, just don't be an utter **** about it.

Funny guy. @OP: If this is your friend, you might wanna reconsider who you decide to hang out with.

Quoted:

In addition, if your going to insult others' builds and act like I'm an idiot, please make sure that you first have more than one build, so you don't appear as "inexperienced" as I appear to you.

We are not insulting you at all (or were) - every single comment I read is constructive up to some extent. Besides that, the amount of builds is completely irrelevant to someone's experience. I have only one guide up atm, with 5 archived. Does that 1 guide make me 'equal' to you? Nope. I'm diamond and you are bronze, which is a huge difference in skill (and experience) between us. Lasty is diamond as well which means you could at least take our advice.

Since I haven't given you advice yet: AFAIK from all the fiora players I faced, they max W>E>Q instead of some weird *** mix. Also, run 21/9/0 masteries and I personally would not recommend a bloodthirster. You just lack the skill and experience to write good quality guides. I know this sounds blunt and harsh, but it is the truth.

Oh, so you don't need magic resist because 1) AP top lane champions don't exist, right? 2) AP mids don't exist, right? 3) AP junglers don't exist, right?

Well-****ing-done, genius.

I never said Trinity Force was a must buy on Fiora, only that the guide writer's assumption that the Sheen aspect of Trinity Force is wasted is wrong. Fiora has 100% AP scaling on her Riposte and the spellblade passive scales extremely well with AD, so it still synergises well with Fiora who gets bonus AD from Riposte as well as stacking lots of AD items.

Okay. First off, this is my first guide.

Irrelevant.

It works for me.

Bronze II. Less than 60 wins in normals. I don't think I need to say anything more.

Second, please leave feedback, and don't be toxic.

What toxicity? I only see one person that is toxic and it's the one defending your guide.

There's a difference in being tactful, and giving help, and being an utter douche. If you hate Fiora, and don't play top lane, then leave suggestions, not hate. You yourself only have one guide published, and judging by your "deep" and "poetic" signatures, I don't think you even had intent of being supportive.

Emoriam was being quite helpful (even if it might not be the ideal way to play Fiora imo). Trinity Force's spellblade is actually quite strong. Read what it does. AP is fine (read Riposte).

Next, the only real "escape" is Flash, which you can easily opt to use. I don't use Flash, simply because I like quick lane return.

You don't mention it in your guide and having at least 1 escape is a MUST. That you suggest otherwise is plain wrong. Wanting to return to lane faster with Teleport is a really ******** excuse to give in place of a mechanism that can save you.

Don't like Thornmail? Don't get it. It's that simple.

Wrong, don't get it. End of. You have absolutely no hp to back up your armor, so you die too quickly for the passive to be of any use to you.

You also have no magic resist, which means that pretty much all AP mages could probably 100-0 you with minimal to no effort.

I'd appreciate polite feedback, not distasteful insults. In addition, if your going to insult others' builds and act like I'm an idiot, please make sure that you first have more than one build, so you don't appear as "inexperienced" as I appear to you.

Uh... so I have to have a guide with multiple builds in order to be able to tell your guide is bad? That's not really how it works. And it doesn't really work even if it were the case, because you only have one build yourself. So basically what you said was that you aren't in the position to give any of us advice on your build because you only have one build. Nice paradox, professor.

So a total tally of errors based on your cheatsheet alone:

Summoner Spells
Skill Sequence
Masteries
Items

Well done, you ****ed up 4/5 of the things in your cheatsheet.

Looking at the rest of your guide, your matchups are just pure bs. You actually don't know how this game is played.

Do yourself a favour, stop playing bots and ARAM and play some normal games. Then some more ranked games. Oh, and learn how to play the game.

If you don't want people to act toxic towards you then its a great idea not to have a friend come on and INSULT THE PEOPLE REVIEWING THE GUIDE.

Okay. First off, this is my first guide. Nobody cares.
It works for me. Doesn't mean it's good.
Second, please leave feedback, and don't be toxic. Nope.
There's a difference in being tactful, and giving help, and being an utter douche. If you hate Fiora, and don't play top lane, then leave suggestions, not hate. Too bad.
You yourself only have one guide published, and judging by your "deep" and "poetic" signatures, I don't think you even had intent of being supportive. Obvious.
Next, the only real "escape" is Flash, which you can easily opt to use. Then put it in your guide.
I don't use Flash, simply because I like quick lane return. Then take Teleport over Ignite. Flash is a must on almost everybody.
Don't like Thornmail? Don't get it. It's that simple. Thornmail is pretty bad unless you're building full tank, so Randuin's Omen or Sunfire Cape is better.
I'd appreciate polite feedback, not distasteful insults. Deal with it.
