I take Flat attack damage marks and quints so garen can do that small amount of damage that could change the fact that he gets a kill or not.The seal of armor is cause garen,being a tanky champion would need a boost of armor to survive battles and tank turrets for his team.The scaling magic resist glyphs are for the ap champions,flat out resistance is useless since the ap champs will be weak early game but get stronger late game,So the logical thing is to make your protection against them better and better as they become stronger and stronger.
