Hey, it's Maokai Is Freelo, previously known as Zion Sairin. This is my first guide, and I hope it will be useful.

First and foremost, I am not a pro. I am not even good at the game. I have some mechanical skill and that is all. Test this build in normals, not ranked, as it will have varied results based on your playstyle!

A lot of meta champions in this season are burst assassins, meaning they run in to take out a priority target, blow the ever-loving **** out of that target, and then escape. Kayle is a hard counter to these type of champions thanks to her ult and, if you are playing support, a wonderful little spell known as Exhaust, which reduces damage, move speed, attack speed, and armor/MR. If you want to Kayle support this is a REQUIREMENT. NO ARGUMENTS.


"But why not take heal?"
Kayle already has a built in Heal with Divine Blessing making a second one useful in escape situations, but also redundant. Exhaust has much more utility and synergy with your kit.

Many Kayle guides will send you down a typical APC role build which gives you massive damage, but also will not protect you when you get focused. The other guides are often for more offensive roles (Mid, Top, some Jungle) and as a support your focus is securing kills for your team and keeping them alive, not getting kills yourself. And don't even get me STARTED on AD Kayle.

It. doesn't. work. Don't do it.

If you are facing one of the many enemies with % Health Damage, DO NOT build health-only. You will die just as quickly as if you went Glass Cannon.

You are NOT the carry with this build. You are essentially a bruiser/offtank for your team as well as a major CC contributor. You will not be 1v5ing or getting pentakills like this.

-No hard CC of her own

The passives will stack when you autoattack an enemy with your E. THIS is what will make you a terror in teamfights. Disengaging will be almost impossible without Flash with this combination and Reckoning

This guide is not necessarily the best Kayle build, but I have been successful with it. Results may very. No guide can guarantee victory, and items are to be purchased based on situation.
