Introduction

What's up guys this is my first guide, i really like this champ so i wanted to build this to show u how i play him.His skills give him both amazing survivability and great damage output (burst and sustained if played correctly).

Though I play Lee Sin both as a solo laner and a jungler, this guide will focus on the jungling aspect to him.

Runes

These are the runes that i use.

Both are runes are good somebody likes more dmg and somebody likes more defence i like to go with magic resist runes i think that they help more than damage in late games.

Masteries

For masteries i go 21 Attack and 9 Defence.

Summoner's Wrath It reduces Magic Resist and Armor of the enemy champion which is realy awesome u can gank early in the game if u use the build.
Brute Force Take all 3 points it gives more damage which is always useful.
Alacrity Gives u little attack speed to jungle faster.

Weapon Expertise U really need this it gives 10% Armor penetration which is always useful especially in late games and u get little from Runes.
Deadliness Gives u Attack Damage per level on lv 18 gives u +9 damage.
Lethality Gives u little extra damage to Crit Strikes its best if u get Trinity Force and Atma's Impaler.
Vampirism Gives u lifesteal that should help u when u are jungling.
Sunder MORE ARMOR PENETRATION!! Which is great combined with Weapon Expertise and Greater Mark of Desolation.
Executioner 6% more damage to low heatlh targets help with jungling and fighting other champs.

Summoner's Resolve Extra gold when u use smite.
Hardiness Extra armor which helps in jungle combined with Greater Seal of Armor pure awesomeness.
Durability Gives health per level at lv 18 u get 108hp.
Veteran's Scars +30 hp at the START gives more sustain in jungle.

Summoner Spells

Smite
U are a jungler u need smite,
awesome for stealing baron or dragon.


Exhaust
What does it give?
It gives secured ganks great at early levels
Reduces their's movement and damage combined with
they cannot escape.

There are other summoner's spells that are good but these are the best u can take.

Ghost But u dont need it u have and , Ignite i dont prefer it u dont need it Exhaust is way better, and last Flash its good for escapes but doesnt need it he has a lot of spells for escape.

Passive: Flurry

After Lee Sin uses an ability, his next 2 basic attacks gain 50% Attack Speed and return 10 energy each.


Explanation:

AWESOME passive. It makes Lee Sin's damage output that much scarier and is a reason why he is such a strong 1v1er and jungler.Always wait for passive,dont spam your skills than your damage output will be smaller.


Q: Sonic Wave / Resonating Strike


Sonic Wave: Lee Sin projects a discordant wave of sound to locate his enemies, dealing 50/80/110/140/170 (+0.9 per bonus Attack Damage) physical damage to the first enemy it encounters. If Sonic Wave hits, Lee Sin can cast Resonating Strike for the next 3 seconds.

Resonating Strike: Lee Sin dashes to the enemy hit by Sonic Wave, dealing 50/80/110/140/170 (+0.9 per bonus Attack Damage) physical damage plus 10% of their missing health.

Cost 50/30 energy

Cooldown 10 / 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 seconds

Explanation:

In my opinion, this is the best finisher in the game. A lot of people don't know how strong this ability really is. If the enemy is around 30% or below, it is almost a guaranteed kill(depending on the target of course). Look at this... Sonic Wave has a +90% bonus attack damage ratio on it. Its so awesome, ALSO Resonating Strike ALSO has a +90% bonus ad ratio as well! That means the total for the skill is 180% bonus ad ratio! That is just a lot of dmg output throughout the entire game, and explains why I use flat ad quints.


W: Safeguard / Iron Will


Safeguard: Lee Sin rushes towards a target ally, shielding them both from 40 / 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 (+80% per Ability Power) damage. After using Safeguard, Lee Sin can cast Iron Will for the next 3 seconds.

Iron Will: Lee Sin's intense training allows him to thrive in battle. For 5 seconds, Lee Sin gains5/10/15/20/25 lifesteal, spell vamp, and armor.

Cost 50/30 energy

Cooldown 8 seconds


Explanation:

This skill is the reason why Lee Sin is so damn hard to kill. He can dive into your turret range, kill you, and safeguard back out. If he has a ward on him, he can place it over ledges, into bushes, anywhere, and safeguard to it to help him escape. Safeguard is also great for saving teammates.



E: Tempest / Cripple


Tempest: Lee Sin smashes the ground sending out a shockwave that deals 60 / 95 / 130 / 165 / 200 (+0.6 per bonus Attack Damage) magic damage and reveals enemy units hit. If Tempest hits an enemy, Lee Sin can cast cripple for the next 3 seconds.

Cripple: Lee Sin cripples nearby enemies revealed by Tempest, reducing their Movement and Attack Speed by 30 / 37.5 / 45 / 52.5 / 60 % for 4 seconds. Movement and Attack Speed recover gradually over the duration.

Cost 50/30 energy

Cooldown 10 seconds

Range 450

Explanation:

This ability allows you to farm, prevent an enemy from running away, save an ally from an enemy, or secure skills.


R: Dragon's Rage


Lee Sin performs a powerful roundhouse kick launching his target back, dealing 200 / 400 / 600 (+2.0 per bonus Attack Damage) physical damage to the target and any enemies they collide with. Enemies the target collides with are knocked into the air for a short duration.

Cost 0 energy

Cooldown 90 / 75 / 60 seconds

Explanation:

My favorite ultimate in the game by far. You can easily turn a teamfight into your favor with one good kick. If you're able to hit even 2 people with it, awesome.
+200% bonus attack damage... simply ridiculous. To finish an enemy, just Q, R, then Q them again. He can easily drop an enemy from half life with this combo.

Be sure to throw in autoattacks between your skills to both utilize the attack speed given, AND to get your energy back.

Mercury's Treads Best boots for . Gives u magic resist and 35 tenacity against stuns,slows,silence etc.

Wriggle's Lantern Must have on main item for every jungler. Gives armor, damage, LIFESTEAL and a FREE WARD, everything that u need also u can use W on ward to escape.

Phage Health, damage and slow everything u need later upgrade it into Trinity Force.

Warmog's Armor Gives a HUGE amount oh hp which will make u live for a while.

Atma's Impaler Great item with Warmog's Armor gives u armor and crit chance and 1,5% hp in damage.

Guardian Angel Gives u more sustain in teamfights armor and magic resist, and passive is awesome u revive.U dont always need to get it u can also get Force of Nature if there are a lot of ap in their team.


Bloodthirster Gives damage and lifesteal if u have gold to buy it take it and sell Wriggle's Lantern.

Maw of Malmortius Great item if they have alot of ap in their team gives damage, and magic shield when u are low hp, also gives damage the less hp u have.

Randuin's Omen Good vs AD team gives hp, armor, CD, and slow attack speed when they attack u. And has ability to slow their movement speed.

Last Whisper Lot of tanks stacking armor this is the item for u, gives 40% armor penetration together with runes and masteris around 60%.

Jungling

Skill order to take on lv 1,2,3,4,5: E,Q,W,Q,Q
Early gank
Start with: Boots and 3 Health Potion

1) Get leash for wraiths
2) Then go red buff
3) Then do wolves
4) Usualy i go gank top or mid OR go for the blue buff u can give it to mid
5) Go wraiths
6) Golems
7) Return to base
8) Do it again wolves, wraiths, golems, gank...



High mobility
Really strong counterjungling item
Allows you to pressure lanes more effectively



Cost-efficient
Lee Sin can literally jungle forever with it

I prefer to go with Boots and 3 Health Potion gives me more mobility i can gank more easily and 3 potions if i need to heal.

TeamFights

In teamfights always throw on your squishy teammates when they're being targeted, sometimes throw it on tanks if they are targeted.
If u see an open enemy use then to allow your team to catch up to them.

Dont use your at the start of the fight wait for a chance when they are all together to get more of them.
And ofc dont forget about your passive. Dont spam your skills or u will run out of energy and u will be useless in teamfight.

SUMMARY
: to catch enemies out of position, to chase, to finish, to just deal heavy damage on a single target.
: to protect an ally, to escape, to bait.
: to peel, to slow dps champions and reduce their dmg output, to secure kills.
:to cc multiple targets (especially the carry), to flee, to secure kill.

Counter Jungling

Lee sin is one of the strongest jungler who can resist being counterjungled why:
1) His always full hp because of his
2)His heavy single-target damage output with the combination of his skills/passive will destroy his opponent.


He will always have a lot of hp, he can clear the jungler easier and not be afraid of being counterjungled. When counterjungling as Lee Sin, do it as you would with another champion or if u know that he starts blue go take his wraith and return to your's jungle, if he start reds maybe u can take his blue. But if u play to counterjungle dont EVER TAKE Vampiric Scepter.
