Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Why did i create this guide? Well i think hecarim is a awesome champion and should be played more and i think he is quite op. This is how I build my hecarim and you might have a better build but i like my build and it works.
Pros / Cons
Not so hard to be good at
Good counter jungler
Not so good without a blue buff
Well my runes:
Armor seals? Well i think armor is one of the most important things if you are a off-tank
Armor marks? Well as i said already above, but i think armor penetration or flat ad would work as well.
Magic Resist glyph? MR is also important so...
Movement speed quintessence? As a jungler i think it is easier to gank with more movement speed, you can also run flat AD.
Summoner's wrath: Because of the ghost improvement.
Fury: Attack speed is always good
Butcher: 4 bonus damage to minions and monsters why not?
Deadliness: AD for the win :D
Weapon Expertise: well armor penetration.
Summoner's resolve: Smite gives gold, with gold you get items, items win the game xD.
Durability: Hp is also always good.
Tough skin: monsters don't do so much damage to you.
Hardiness: Armor again....
Veteran's scars: flat 30 hp is good in the start
Wanderer: Clear the jungle quicker and come to your ganks quicker too.
Meditation: A bit mana-regeneration never hurts.
Mastermind: Reduces your smites and ghosts cooldown so more income and quicker movement speed.
Runic affinity: Longer buffs :D.
Spirit of the elder lizard: AD good, cooldown reduction good, hp and mana regeneration really good, butcher passive: not so effective in fights but good when farming or jungling, the AoE unique passive: well hecarim has a lot of AoE so a bit extra damage.
Iceborn gauntlet: AP a bit useless but scales with hecarims w and r, mana nice amount, armor <3, cooldown reduction-> more spamming q, spellblade passive: well hecarim is just spamming his q so why not do some extra damage with basic attack afterwards
Boots of swiftness: movement speed obviously xD
Sunfire cape: armor <3, HP always good, and an op passive
Ravenous hydra: 75 AD <3, hp regeneration lovely, lifesteal stay longer alive and a bit more AoE.
Spirit visage: hp op, MR is good against AP casters, hp regen, 20% cdr rly nice and an epic passive: more hp regen :D
Warpath: AD for movement speed, to op
Rampage (q): Primary dmg ability
Spirit of dread (w): AoE heal
Devastating charge (e): will knock back and stun your enemy
Onslaught of shadows (r): Deals quite much dmg and terrifys enemys it hits, will make your ganks easy as ****
Well I hope you liked my guide and look at my other guides (they might be old but still good).
