Introduction

Hi guys, I'm Lord Potato, or tanawin in NA. This is my first guide on mobafire, but of my favorite champion in the League. Hecarim, the pony of doom. In this guide, I will tell you different ways to f*** people really hard. With your scythe and stuff. Nothing dirty. Lets get started

Tanky AD
Ult and E goes with his passive
lots of gap closers

Cons:
Weak early game
no harass abilities
relies on movement speed

Abilities Specifically

Warpath (Passive)
Hecarim ignores unit collision and gains attack damage equal to 10/ 12.5 / 15 / 17.5 / 20 / 22.5/ 25% of his bonus movement speed

This passive is a great combo with his E and his R. WHile you are moving fast with your E or on the way to the target with your R, spin your Q and it will make bonus damage.

Rampage (Q)

Cleaves all enemies in his range. If he hits an enemy, then the skill will automatically CD by 1 second. Stacks up 2 times.

Great tool for farming and your main source of damage. Great combo to use with your E and your R.

Spirit of the Dead (W)

Hecarim surround himself with the spirit of the dead, and those who stand on it get magic damage per second. Hecarim heals for 20% the damage dealt while Spirit of the Dead is up.

This is your sustain too. Use it when you are in a fight, or when you need to farm and heal from minions. Try to deal as much damage as possible while it is opened, it will heal you.

Devastating Charge (E)

Hecarim gains 75% movement speed over 3 seconds, and his next attack knocks enemies back and stuns them for a short duration.

This is your skill that goes well with your Q. It gives you movement speed, but your passive will convert it to AD. This skill is is one of your most important skills.

Onslaught of Shadows

Hecarim surrounds himself with spectral riders and charge forward dealing magic damage and terrifying enemies who stand in his path.

This is what makes Hecarim who he is. This is your gap closer and your greatest damage dealer if used with your Q while moving. It also terrifies enemies, so it could be used to save your turret or ally. It could also be used for escape, and going for the kill.

Early Game Play

Remember, this guide is about being ADC Hecarim, so try to outfarm the enemy team's ADC. Try to take bot lane, if not then you can solo top. Try to last hit minions with your Q. Farm up as much as possible, and keep in mind that Hecarim is not too good in early game, so try not to take too much damage and don't harass the enemy team too much. When you reach level 6, (you should get Sheen and Starting to build Phage by now) start farming by engaging a wave of minions with your Q, then last hitting the rest.

Middle Game Play

At middle and Late game, you should be the most OP champ in the game. You should have your Bezerker's Greaves, Sheen, Phage, and your Zeal by now. Start looking forward to building it into Tri-Force. A good way to do a whole lot of damage with hecarim is to use your E to harass. Hecarim's passive is his movement speed is converted to AD. Engage and enemy with your E, and run beside your enemy and hit Q. That should do Tons of damage to the enemy. Same with your ult, ult in, then before your ult ends Q the enemy. Tons and tons of damage dealt. Use your W to heal up, so your combo should be, W, E, Q, (wait for Q to finish CD) R, Q, and keep hittin dat b*** till you kill him and eat his corpse. Or engage another enemy to go for the double. Once you get spirit vasage, your W will heal you up a LOT.

Late Game Play

At late game, you should have your try-force, Ravenous Hydra, and deciding if you should build Spirit Visage, or Shurelya's Veil. Since you will now be OP as f***, if you are having problems taking on 2 of your enemies, you should get spirit vasage, but if you want to get more kills, then get Shurleya's. If you get Shurleya's, then remember to activate it in a team fight, it will give you bonus AD, as in movement speed.

Tips and Tricks

Some tips and tricks on delivering damage to your enemies.

When you use your E, don't hit into the enemy right away, but run next to him and spin his a** off with you Q. Same with your ult, while ult is activated and you are moving, spin your Q over the enemy. It will work, and it will deal tons of damage, since you are moving VERY fast while you are in your ult.

Summary

Overall, I think Hecarim is a great champion, but he might hurt his back for carrying his team all day. So watch this video; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evAgeUdA3G0 and get Hecarim a saddle.
