Introduction

Alright, this guide will show you how to play Vayne, well. Vayne is probably the most difficult AD carry, meaning you should probably start with someone easier, like Caitlyn or Graves. Vayne requires a ton of micro ability, you will more than likely lose lane, its common. But that doesn't mean you have to die a lot. Always try to outfarm the enemy AD carry. If you can, late game they won't be able to handle your OPness. Get it?

Ranked Play.

I'm a Gold/Platinum player. I rarely play solo queue since all I do is play with my team. I recently sold my account, so I'm using a new one which is in Silver. I could get it to gold but I'm lazy.

Important Pros/Cons

Pros

+ Hardcore Carry late game
+ Awesome skins/art
+ Good with many supports

Cons
- Her range sucks.
- High learning curve.
- Gets pooped on in lane.
- Sucks vs poke and dive comps.

Runes

Basic runes, with only a few differences. Crit chance rune is just cheese, you barely lose any damage, but in return you have a 1 in 100 chance of critting. Sounds stupid, I know, but trust me, it's not. If you get that crit off on a champion level 1, the entire lane will be in your favour. To the next thing, 2 lifesteal quints, not 3, I do this because I start Doran's Blade, always. You don't need no stupid Longsword first. Doran's is always the best start. Anyways, the reason I get 2 lifesteal quints is because they give 4% lifesteal, plus the bonus from dorans just enough to sustain you in lane. The extra 2 damage makes it so much easier to last hit early game. If you don't agree, that's fine, just try it though.

Masteries

Every ADC should use this, except for maybe Ezreal. I get 9 points in defence because Vayne is squishy as ****. Extra armor and health, yes please. The rest are obvious, I hope.

Items

Well, items are important. ALWAYS start Dorans, then either go into Bilgewater, or just the vamp scepter, and boots. Finish boots, and start towards your Blade of the Ruined King. This item works so well with Vayne, because she requires movement speed, attack speed, attack damage, and a way to kite for herself. You'll learn that in solo queue. Once blade is done, if you're super fed, rush Infinity Edge, if not, go Phantom Dancer. Then build the Last Whisper. Guardians Angel is so good, so I always get it after the Last Whisperer. I like getting Frozen Mallet when I play solo queue, because people suck at peeling, this gives you health and a slow on every autoattack! Then you can build Zephyr after you are all build, and replace it with boots. It gives movement speed, Tenacity, attack speed and damage! What more could you ask for? As you see, I rarely get Infinity Edge, the reason is because Vayne really doesn't need it. It's better on people like Graves, Caitlyn, Twitch and Tristana. They are all longer ranged champions, meaning they have more space and such.
You may wonder why Wit's End is in there, it works well if the enemy team has a ton of AP champions. You don't have to get this, you can get a MoM(Maw of Malmortius), or get a Mercurial Scimitar.

Skill Sequence

Maxing Q is always the best. Lowers the cooldown, meaning when you get your ult, you can be invisible many times, meaning the enemy AD carry will be like "WHERE ARE YOU?!" Also, maxing Q gives a lot of damage, and better harass. You can max your W if you're up against someone tanky, like Graves or Kog'Maw. But the rest, you max Q. It also lets you dodge a ton of skill shots if you have good reaction time.

Spells

Flash. Why wouldn't you want this..?
Cleanse is so amazing. You can cleanse almost anything, like exhausts, or ignites. Some AD carries like Graves go ignite, and when they ignite you when they engage, you instantly cleanse and they lose so much of their early game damage. It's even better when you get exhausted and ignite'd, because it gets rid of both!

Summary

Summary, Vayne is such an amazing AD carry, but she takes a lot of practice and skill to master. If you can get good at her, she can destroy the lower ELOs, and win games easy. Practice her and you'll see why DoubleLift and I both love her! Thanks for listening, please feel free to add me on League, I play on NA servers! Snickas2015. Bad name, I know. Anyways, hope you enjoy and learn Vayne, the right way.
