No, actually it wouldn't. Sheen and Trinity Force proc off your base damage, not your total and not your bonus damage. Why are you even comparing Sheen to Lich Bane anyway? Not like you don't have to buy it no matter which path you choose... If you want to make a comparison, then compare directly to Trinity Force.
- Guinsoo's Rageblade - Giving you AS per hit to boost your passive and high amount of damage! (Replacement)
Guess what? I grab that item already. Furthermore, I rarely ever actually buy a Zeal. After Phage/Sheen, I usually build straight into a Trinity Force. Next...
- Rylai's Crystal Scepter - Slow is great, gives high amount HP and also giving boost to your abilities. (Replacement)
By the time you buy Rylai's you can have both a Phage and a Bilgewater Cutlass almost (the difference is 35 gold). Between the Phage, Cutlass, Counterstrike, and Leap Strike, you really shouldn't have an issue keeping on top of someone at all.
Ignoring your blatantly incorrect information, the rest of your "concerns" boil down to personal preferences. By the time I reach about 10k gold, my build has a Wriggle's Lantern, Merc Treads, Trinity Force, and a Gunblade. By contrast, your build would have a Wriggles, Merc Treads, Sheen, Rylais, and a Hextech Revolver (with almost enough to buy the Bilgewater Cutlass). At that stage in the game, I will almost guarantee that I would have a higher damage output and more sustain.
Lastly, I really don't care if you don't like my build, my items, or my guide. I'm all for constructive criticism, but you've provided little more than misinformation (Zeal vs. Rageblade?) and flat out wrong statements (Sheen proc damage?).
Trinity Force:
Phage - The slow chance is low and not giving a lot of HP.
- Rylai's Crystal Scepter - Slow is great, gives high amount HP and also giving boost to your abilities. (Replacement)
Zeal - Attack speed and movement speed is nice but critical strike chance is a waste.
- Guinsoo's Rageblade - Giving you AS per hit to boost your passive and high amount of damage! (Replacement)
Sheen - Proc would go great if you're building more AD.
- Lich Bane - Ability boost, proc if your going for a little more AP which is easier to get than AD. Also some movement speed. (Replacement)
Thanks.
Also, your masteries are fine. I would prefer to have one point from health regen into flat armor, but they are good.
I would like to see a more broken down early game build. Starting with Vampiric Scepter is fine, but do I just farm until I can buy the Lantern flat out? Do you buy Boots in there, or just straight Treads? Some notes on that would be good. May also want to consider putting in a ward when you begin purchasing, so people know when they will being to miss having Flash, if you get my drift.
Good job though. I see that making your guide pretty is on your to do list- many people will get rather picky, but keep in mind that it's the content that matters most.
Bladed Armor and Vigor masteries are strictly for jungling and mostly geared toward help at low levels.
As for Exhaust, to each his own. I understand the wisdom in taking Rylai, but to me there's little point in getting both a Rylai's and a Trinity Force. By the time you would have a Rylai's you should easily have a Phage, and while the Phage is less consistent, it is very effective with your high attack rates.
This build is pretty even in terms of AP vs bonus attack damage, but your last item is what really determines that. If you inserted an AP item (let's just say Rylai's for example), you would have 225 AP and 260 total AD. The difference is pretty minimal. You trade off a little damage on every attack for a little more damage when Master-At-Arms procs.
And that comes to specifically why Maw of Malmortius is strictly optional. You simply may not need it. Hell, most of the time games end before I even finish Gunblade/Trinity Force (especially if I'm doing well).
Also if you would go for Ryali's Crystal Scepter earlier you wouldn't have problems with CC and it will fix lack of hp, so I would say that Exhaust is a waste. Flash is always better summoner spell. Also solo top champion must not be squishy.
Masteries are ****ed up, you don't need Bladed Armor and Vigor .
3hp regen. per 5 seconds won't do much, but 100hp at level 18 and 30hp on start will help you a lot.
And if you really want hybrid Jax you need to have similar amount of both AP and AD.
