This is my first guide to mobafire, so i'm able to receive any suggestion or critic from you guys. Thanks for Read.
Jayce is a champion that you need some skill to play due to his skill variability, with practice you can do with him what you never did with another champion before, he is a very strong champion.
Pros / Cons
Pros:
Funny to play;
Very much help for the team;
Versatile;
Easy build.
Good Harass
Cons:
Hard combos;
Need Sniper skills.
Runes and Masteries
About runes I ever build him with attack damage marks and quints for maximize Jayce's early game (farm and harass). Defense and Magical Resist per level cause I think that this is better than put ad runes on seals and glyphs. Nothing more to say here.
About his masteries, I guess that almost every ad ranged dps use that way (21/9/0).
AD, attack speed, lifesteal, a little bit of armor pen and thats it.
Items
Lets priorize his damage since the beggining, attack speed isnt that important cause you do a large damage with 
To The Skies! + 
Thundering Blow combo and/or 
Shock Blast + 
Acceleration Gate, so, do AD.
Start with boot + potions is more safe than start with one Doran Blade, but if u wanna play agressive and/or your support is your friend, I ever buy boot + potions.
Buy one Doran Blade if ur early game start very bad, after, buy one B. F. Sword for ur AD up a lot. Then rush your Berseker's Greaves and your 
The Bloodthirster. After it, start your 
Trinity Forcewith 
Sheen then 
Phage, and do quickly one 
Infinity Edge for maximize your criticals.
You can buy another The Bloothirster and the last item can be from your own necessity, like 
Phantom Dancer, 
Guardian Angel and others.
Obsevation: I never played a game that I could buy more than 4 full items, they over quickly if you do your job.
Skill Sequence
As Ranged:
Turn 
Hyper Charge on, then use Acceleration Gate + Shock Blast combo.
Turn in Meele:
Use 
Lightning Field and To The Skies! + Thundering Blow
It's game over.
You do massive damage with your ranged combo, then more huge damage with meele combo.
If your targets still alive, just hit then a lot.
Observation: When you change Meele to Ranged or Ranged to Meele, you receive a boost of move speed and bonus magic damage for Jayce's first hit after the change.
Summoner Spells
Flash and Heal for Sustain and for surprise your enemy when he is trying to kill you.
Another spells makes Jayce very squishy.
Ignite and Exhaust can be used against some especific champions, like ignite for voli/swain.
Solo Top
My build as solo top is a little bit tanker than the ad bot build, because almost all solo tops must be "tankers" on game.
Very important item for off tankers, tenacity+movespeed+magic resist.
Gives you ad, magic resist, more ad when you are at low hp, and one good spell shield.
More hp, armor, a little cooldown reduction and it able you to escape or start team fights.
Farming
At early game you need to farm as much as you can, last hiting minions and shoting enemy champions when the oportunity comes.
Start to combo Acceleration Gate + Shock Blast when you reach level 3 (when Shock Blast is lvl 2) for harass and To The Skies! can be used for farm. At mid game ur combos will kill the minions waves easily.
Ganking
Whule ganking, hide in the bush and start with Acceleration Gate + Shock Blast for maximize the damage in area, after, activate Hyper Charge for hit faster (at 2.5 hits per second) and keep hiting.
If you prefer to continue the combo, transform from ranged to meele, activate Lightning Field and jump into your enemy with To The Skies!, hit him with your high attack speed and finish it with Thundering Blow. If he still alive, change into ranged again and repeat the combo.
Dont forget of try to give the bonus movespeed to your allies, for make your gank more efficient and to increase your chances of get one (or more) kill or assist.
Unique Skills
Jayce can be Ranged and Meele at same time (6 seconds cd), his Shock Blast is potentialized by Acceleration Gate by 40% more speed, and when you and your team mates pass through it, you'll receive a boost on your movespeed, that can help you to get some kills and/or start one good teamfight.
Jayce's Thundering Blow is very much helpful, because it knock back the target, throwing it to the rest of your team and/or for keeping yourself alive and run with Acceleration Gate.
Tips and Tricks
Shock Blast reveal for a short duration the area that it exploded.
Jayce at meele receive bonus armor and magic resistence, so, for escape from a gank, use Acceleration Gate while ranged and transform into meele and pass by your spell.
When you are moving by very far distances you can use Acceleration Gate for run faster, and you can transform into Mercury Cannon or Mercury Hammer for run faster for a while.
Start a gank or a team fight with Acceleration Gate + Shock Blast is a good option, due to the massive initial damage in area.
Final Considerations
Jayce is a very versatile champion, if you know how to build and use him, your team will be very pleased with all your assist.
