Lee Sin, Godfather of ganking

Introduction

Hi,

I'm Vort3x1337 from EU West I really like Lee Sin as jungler, this is why I try to write this guide.
I guess I got around 100 won games as Lee Sin, I really recommend this champ for every player that wants to spend time on one strong champion.
I usally build him very tanky. But you will see this later in the "Build"-chapter.

Also I'm german, my english is not the best. I try to write the guide as good as possible.

+ Very good ganks with Q and E
Without runes not that easy -
+ Counterpick for every invis Champ
expensive Items -
+ High Damage without mutch Items
Skillshots have to hit -

Overall hes a very good champion, but he needs a lot of practice to be mastered.

Skills

Passive: Flurry
Lee Sins passive is very powerfull, makes you a fast jungler, and gives you a lot of energy back. Always remember: Skill > 2 hits Skill > 2 hits

Sonic Wave / Resonating Strike:
This is the main abilty to start ganks. You will max this as first.
It also uncovers stealthed units.

Safeguard / Iron-will
You will use this to save teammates or as a nice escape.
You can also use it on wards, this is why you allways should keep a ward in your inventory.
Max this at level 18.

- Tempest / Cripple
With this skill you can slow enemie units and make them visible for your team.
Skill this as first and max it at level 13.

dragons rage

- Dragons Rage
Your ultimate, its pretty strong in teamfights and in 1on1 fights.
Try to hit as many enemies as possible with it! They will be knockbacked and get a small amount of dmg.

Prioritation

Its simple as farting:
R>Q>E>W

Skill R whenever its possible, if not take your Q, if this isnt aviable then you should take E. And if you maxed Q, E and R just take W.

Masteries

Lets take a look at my masteries, I will explain why I play 10 - 11 - 9 without skilled but with skilled

  • Well, dont have to explain why I take 3 AD.
  • More dmg against monsters and minions? YES!!
  • 4 % more attack speed to jungle even faster!
  • 10 % armor pen? Yep, gettin this.

  • To have lower CD on our escape spell.
  • 10 Bonus energy goooood.
  • More movementspeed makes us happy :)
  • Longer buffs, must have!

  • More Armor, less incoming minion DMG
  • Reducing minion DMG, ok.
  • 108 Health at level 18. I like this.
  • + 30 health, easy jungle bro.
  • 6 Dmg returned to minions.
  • You can also take this one instead of Vet Scars

Summoner Spells

I prefer and as jungle Lee Sin. But there are also other Summoner Spells that could be useful.

[*] + Extra slow to enemies
[*] + Enemies will deal like 0 DMG
[*] + Every gank should be a kill

[*] - You got no escape
[*] - Doesnt allow any mistakes
[*] - You cant correct your Position

[*] + Extra DMG if you skill it.
[*] + Good finisher
[*] + Reduces heal of enemies (Volibear, Mundo)

[*] - No escape
[*] - Enemie still deals DMG
[*] - Doesn't slow

[*] + Good to chase enemies
[*] + Is a escape spell also
[*] + Can get you somewhere really quick

[*] - Long Cooldown
[*] - If you get slowed it's kinda useless
[*] - Enemies like or can get you easy.

Runes

For usally I go for a good mix between dmg and health runes.

Marks: 9x Greater Mark of Desolation
I take the armor penetration runes because I want to max out my dmg at ganks to get a kill as fast as possible.

Seals: 9x Greater Seal of Vitality
As seals I go for health per level to become pretty tanky in late game.
It also gives you a advantage in the jungle because u will have around 650 health at level 1.

Glyphs: 9x
Simply to reduce dmg taken by minions.

Quints: 3x
To be even more tanky. Makes jungle very easy.

Overall its a pretty expensive runepage.
Have fun farming it :)

Items

I will list up 2 Itembuilds for Lee Sin right after you will be able to read some thoughts about it.

The Damage with less Magicres Build:

  • Core Items for Lee Sin, Life Steal, Armor, AD and Procc.
  • Mres Boots to give you Tenacity and Speed.
  • CDR, AD, and Armor Pen + great Active to Chase.
  • Increasing your lifepool to be tanky and get some AD from Atmas.
  • 2 % AD from your life, Armor and Crit.
  • I buy this as last item bec. rushing it as Jungle is iMo senseless because of high cost.

The Damage with Magicres build:

  • Core Items for Lee Sin, Life Steal, Armor, AD and Procc.
  • Mres Boots to give you Tenacity and Speed.
  • To get more Magicres against Nukeing champs (nice passive)
  • Increasing your lifepool to be tanky and get some AD from Atmas.
  • 2 % AD from your life, Armor and Crit.
  • I buy this as last item bec. rushing it as Jungle is iMo senseless because of high cost.

I tested the Hexdrinker Itembuild today and it went pretty fine.
If you test it also, please give me some feedback how it went.

Jungling

From 1 to 6 jungle way as Lee Sin

Start at Wolfs (DONT SMITE THE BIG ONE!!!), after the wolfs are death go to Blue deal with it.
Kill wraths, big Golems and Red buff you should now be nearly level 4. Go to the Wolf camp again and hit level 4. Now go back first time and get Boots and maybe Vampiric Scepter.

Go gank and repeat jungeling.
