Introduction
Welcome to my Kalista, The Spear of Vengeance Guide.
My name is Jake.
This is my first guide I have actually started, so constructive criticism is welcomed and appreciated. I will update this guide from time to time whenever I come across a change in the champion.
The guide will hopefully be completed in a few weeks.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Great at Kiting (Passive)
- Scales really well into mid/late game
- High Burst damage potential
- Some utility given by her W
and her ultimate
- Good in sustained team fights
- If you put time into the champion, high rewards
- Weak against burst
- Weak against CC
- Hard to master
- Can be Shut down easily
- No perfect build, Lots of questions about abilities and etc
Masteries
Standard 21-9-0 Masteries
One question here is whether or not to take Spell Weaving
I do not find it neccesary to take this mastery due to Kalista's high CD's on her abilties. Kalista is an auto attacked based carry and she does not cast spells enough to proc this mastery to actually benefit from it.
The second variable is that you can take Expose Weakness
instead of Frenzy
on the Attack Speed build.
