You know what, this is actually a good guide, different from the classic Lux. I do disagree with your summoner spells. I understand both of your choices, i use them often too, but never both of them together. i think Flash is a MUST for Lux. I don't really like CV, especially since your ultimate reveals the area around it, and you should be able to pretty much predict where the enemy is. Visuals are very good, but you might want to center your pros/cons columns. Also, i'm not really sure about abyssal scepter; have you considered banshee's veil?
VERY IMPORTANT: turn on require comment to vote!

P.S. forgot to mention that i find it ironic that you wrote a guite for Lux, yet your name is Shadow.

Many thanks to MissMaw, LaCorpse, Xiron, Arcana3 and Joxuu for making me sigs!

I know the summoner spells are a bit off, but I dunno, something with having these two together harmonizes with me. CV has protected me from plenty of ganks in my time midding and Clarity, of course for the sustain. I don't find myself in need of Flash often- But I would be lying if I said I didn't end up in a few situations where it could be handy. Thank you two for the comments, and I'll be sure to make those changes. :D

And about Banshee's Veil. I have tried it, and I don't disagree with it. It is great for when you're fighting a nuker like Talon in mid, but I take the abyssal scepter if I'm fighting an AP carry that can actually rival my harassing ability. =.= I've had a few of those matches. But honestly Banshee's Veil might be a good item to replace that with. I'll run some tests. :3

P.S.: Yes, it is quite ironic. xD That Shadow is playing as Lux. But my user has been stuck with me for about 8 years, and I use it for everything. I also play a mean Nocturne. :3

This is EXTREMLY good guide. I never liked glasscannon AP spammers' builds since it's just stupid. For example I build Ahri with Frozen Heart and Randuin's Omen after my core Rabadon's Deathcap, Will of the Ancients and Rod of Ages. This allows me to not be afraid of engaging, as well as some nice mana issues fixes and extra cooldown reduction.
For Lux it's also very important to be durable and have cooldowns reduction, so I don't see anything bad in your items, seriously.

Also you have almost perfect ratio between armor/resistance and HP (read this for mroe info)

But, let me give you few tips:

You should maximize your bonuses from runes. So i recommend 3 MS quints instead of 2. And if you want that little 10% CDR to hit 40% cap with Frozen Heart and masteries use glyphs, they are better for that purpose. With runes' setup you got currently you earn only around 3,5%CDR from runes, that's not even noticeable. So maximize your bonuses.

Secondly I wouldn't upgrade Tear of the Goddess to Archangel's Staff if tear is not charged at least a bit. Imho it would be way more beneficial to go that way:

Tear of the Goddess-> Blasting Wand-> Glacial Shroud-> Archangel's Staff-> Frozen Heart.

Those are only my personal tips, but guide is good even without it.
+1 from me

Thank you for the comment and tips glizdka. :D

I really worked on my Lux build, trying to hammer out any kinks that might be in it since she's been my main. I tried giving her some survivability just in case any enemies are able to reach me, even if it isn't often because of all of her CC, it is life saving. And I agree with the MS Quints. I've been experimenting some and I could definitely see using 3 MS Quints and knocking out the CDR one for some glyphs.

And as for the build change. I partially agree with you. As I said, my guide is mostly a suggestion. Of course, If I'm being beat down in mid by an AD champion, or if I'm struggling some I would undoubtedly go for the Glacial Shroud before purchasing the full Archangel's Staff just for that extra edge to survivability and CDR. But if I'm doing okay in mid and I'd like to put out a bit more damage with my harassment, may as well go for the Archangel's Staff. :D But thank you for the advice and the +1.

Both of those mean a lot to me. And I completely agree with you about the Glasscannons. I don't like the either just because it would take a whole second and a half to be focused down by someone who has a gap closer. No, nearly every champion needs a backup plan within their build in my opinion. ^^
