Basic

When laning with ap MF it's extremely important to ward in case of enemy ganking because you don't really have escape methods.

Abilities

Take Impure Shots at level 1 because it helps you a lot with last hitting. If your enemy isn't particularly dangerous you can easily zone him/her with Make it Rain and harrash with Double Up (which deals damage because you build some ad in the early game).

Lane enemies

These champions you should be careful with:

Gap closer champs such as Fizz, Kassadin and Ahri
High CC champs such as Lux, Anivia and Orianna
