Introduction

In this Fizz build, I will be explaining Fizz's skill order and what they do, as well as when and how to use them. Also i will show you the items that you should get for Fizz, the Masteries you should take, the Summoner Spells, and the Runes.

AP- Ability Power

Runes

Marks
REASONS
  • Magic Resist per level, gives more Magic Resist than flat Magic Resist.
  • Magic Resist will increase with each level.
  • Most games have Ability Power champions.
REASONS
  • Smart players on the enemy team might stack Magic Resist.
  • Fizz is an AP character, you will need Magic Penetration for enemy base Magic Resist.
  • It will increase your damage output with your abilities.

Seals
I take 5 Greater Seal of Vitality
REASONS
  • Smart enemy players might target you first because of the damage Fizz deals.
  • It will give you more chances of surviving in team fights.
  • At higher levels you will be able to turret dive more often.
  • You will stay longer in your lanes.
REASONS
  • Like I have mentioned before, Fizz is an AP champion. The more AP, the stronger you get.
  • Ap keeps increasing with each level.

Glyphs
REASONS
  • Same reason as AP Seals, the more AP the stronger Fizz gets.
  • Even more Ap.
Also I take 4 Greater Glyph of Vitality
REASONS
  • Tanky Fizz is tanky, Fizz can be a big threat if he has a lot of Health.
  • You will have more chances of winning in 1v1 battles.

Quintessences
For my Quintessences, I take defensive ones. To help me stay in battle.
I take All these Quintessences will make you more durable.

Here is what everything should look like when you are finished.

Runes

Precision
Press the Attack
Electrocute
Predator
Fleet Footwork

Masteries

The Masteries for Fizz should be mostly in Offense. Focusing on Ability Power.

Or if you don't feel confident and want to be sure you don't die, then it can look like this.

Items

For my Items, I like to start off with
Boots will make you more mobile, and potions will help you with First Blood, or staying in your Lane longer.

After you save up money, you need to get

The reason is, Fizz is AP, so he needs Magic Penetration to eat through those Tanks.

When you get some last hits or kills, go for

This will make you more Tanky and give you some Ability Power.

After that, buy

For me, this item is VERY helpfull for mages. It gives you durable Health and impressive Ability Power.

When you bought the Rylai's Crystal Scepter, you must go for

  • (if you are against an AP user)
  • (if you need more damage output)

Once you got at least 2 of those items, buy

This item, is one of the best for Fizz. It gives you nice Movement Speed, Ability Power and Magic Resist. Lich Bane for Fizz, is just like Phantom Dancer for Master Yi.

Now, speaking of Phantom Dancers, Fizz could use some Attack Speed. You might say `but that will take up a slot, and you need ability power``. That is correct, and that is exactly why you have to get the

That takes up 2 slots, Stinger gives you Attack Speed, and Fiendish Codex gives you important Mana Regen, and a bit of Ability Power. Once you got those, magically turn those two items into

What can i say? Attack speed of the Stinger, and Mana Regen along with Ability Power in one item! Also, you know what? 25% Cooldown Reduction! If you don't want to get this item, then you can also buy
  • which only gives you plain old boring Attack Speed, Attack Damage and Ability Power.

After this, you have to go for your Must Have Item, which is the

You should already know what this item does. If you don't, it gives you quite a lot of Ability Power, Plus 30% of your current Ability Power.

Now, for your final item. It mostly depends on the game. If people are getting Magic Resist, then i suggest the
  • Ability Power and Magic Penetration in a nutshell

If enemies kill you too fast, or after you kill them your Health is too low, which makes you die to minions. Then get the
  • Just like Life Steal, but you get Health back every time you use an Ability on an enemy. Also known as Spell Vamp.

Skill Sequence

Fizz's Abilities

Q

This is Fizz's first skill. Fizz dashes a fixed distance to the targeted enemy. This skill applies on-hit effects.

W

This skill acts as a passive and an active skill.
  • Passive- Fizz's basic attacks mark a target enemy, which deals Magic Damage based on the enemy's missing health over time.
  • Active- Fizz's basic attacks cause grievous wounds to his enemies which reduce healing. Fizz also empowers his trident making his basic attacks deal more magic damage.

E

Upon activating this ability, Fizz jumps towards your cursor, also becoming untargetable for 0.75 seconds. After a short delay, Fizz slams the ground, dealing magic damage to surrounding enemies, and slowing them.
After using , Fizz can activate the ability again. Upon activation Fizz jumps toward the cursor again, dealing magic damage instantly to a smaller area, but not slowing.

R

Fizz throws a fish to the targeted area. Upon hitting an enemy champion, the fish will stick to them. After a brief delay, Fizz's shark will emerge, and chomp the enemy champion, dealing great damage to the champion and his surrounding units. If it misses, it stays in the area. If a champion walks into the area, the fish will stick to them.
The order of the skills that need to be taken, are shown below.

Summoner Spells

For the Summoner Spells I prefer to take

  • Ignite finishes off enemy Champions, and Flash can be used to chase or run away from an enemy.

Other Spells which can be useful.
    • Useful for restoring health.
    • Useful for escaping or chasing.

Pros / Cons

Pros

  • Good escaping mechanism
  • Good chasing mechanism
  • Nice AoE damage

  • Usually targeted
  • Weak early game
  • Takes a lot of damage
