Introduction

Hello, I'm DeluxeReal and welcome to my 45% CDR Fizz Guide. This is my first guide and I hope you will learn something. I'm at this moment GOLD V in EUNE, nothing special. This guide is built around new masteries Intelligence and Thunderlord's Decree , Intelligence allows you to have maximum of 45% Cooldown Reduction. That means you can spam ur Playful / Trickster a lot.

This is the most important part... Masteries . U definitely need Intelligence and Thunderlord's Decree , these are the 2 things that makes this build possible.

Intelligence Increases the cooldown reduction cap by 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5% and grants 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5% cooldown reduction.

So basically that means your cooldown reduction cap will be 45% and u get flat 5% cooldown reduction. When u get 45% CDR u can spam ur E a lot.

Thunderlord's Decree Your third attack or spell on an enemy champion shocks the area around them, dealing 10 damage per level plus 30% of your bonus Attack Damage and 10% of your Ability Power as magic damage to enemies in the area (20 second cooldown).

This Keystone mastery is one of the best to Fizz, because it gives some nice burst in the late game something around 200-250 damage and it's AOE damage. If u can use it to whole enemy team u can deal over 1000 damage! That's insane. U can deal some nice damage in early game too 50-100 and it helps you to win lane and deal more damage to enemy.

Nimble Fighter INNATE: Fizz is perpetually Ghost ghosted and takes 4 - 14 (based on level) less physical damage from basic attacks.

Urchin Strike ACTIVE: Fizz dashes a fixed distance towards the target enemy unit, dealing 100% AD physical damage plus bonus magic damage. The physical damage applies on-hit effects and the magic damage applies spell effects. Like Lich Bane passive and Seastone Trident

Seastone Trident PASSIVE: Fizz's basic attacks rend his target, dealing magic damage over 3 seconds, capped against minions and monsters.

Playful / Trickster FIRST CAST: Fizz hops onto his trident towards the target location, becoming untargetable for 0.75 seconds, before splashing onto the ground below him, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies and Slow icon slowing them for 2 seconds.

SECOND CAST: Fizz immediately hops off his trident towards the target location, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies.

Chum the Waters ACTIVE: Fizz throws a fish in a line that binds itself onto the first enemy champion it hits, Slow icon slowing them for 1.5 seconds.

For the next 6 seconds, Fizz's magic damage against them is increased by 20% for 6 seconds, excluding Chum the Waters's damage.

After 1.5 seconds, a shark comes out from the earth to eat the fish, regardless of its position. Enemies hit are dealt magic damage and are Slow icon slowed for 1.5 seconds afterwards.

If a champion has the fish attached to them, the shark Airborne icon knocks them up for 1 second. Other nearby enemies are Airborne icon knocked away instead. The fish provides True Sight icon true sight of its area of effect, and stays at the location it was thrown to until it binds to an enemy champion or is eaten.

Summoner Spells

Ignite is a good summoner spell. It gives you more damage and helps you to win 1v1s.

Flash is maybe the best summoner spell. It gives you chance to escape or chance to chase. Also it gives nice chances to outplay your enemies.

Teleport is good for roaming, taking objectives and farming, but in solo queue it's not as good as Ignite. U can take Teleport if u can communicate effectively with your teammates, but in my opinion Ignite is better, because u can still roam easily with ur E with this build.

U can replace Flash with Exhaust, Barrier and Heal, which helps you to win 1v1s, but u lose some mobility, but mobility is not a problem in this build. So feel free to take one of those spells.

Items

Morellonomicon is a really good AP item since it gives 20% CDR and 80 AP! Also it gives some mana regen. Morello's passive also gives some advantage in 1v1s against champs with lifesteal, spell vamp, etc.

Athene's Unholy Grail is replacement for Morellonomicon in this build. Athene's Unholy Grail is defensive item and it gives really nice mana regen, 20% CDR and some AP, build it if u are struggling with AP mid.

Lich Bane is one of the best items for Fizz. It procs with Fizz Q, which gives you a lot of burst damage. Buy this as your first item if you are ahead.

Zhonya's Hourglass is a really good item, gives armor and a lot of AP. And active gives survivability in teamfights and u can deny a lot of abilities like Zed's ult etc.

Rabandon's Deathcap gives the most AP in the game. It gives really good burst damage and is good almost in any situation. NEVER buy this as first item, because it's really expensive and it's stats aren't that good in early game compared to any items above and below.

Void Staff is the best magic penetration item in the game. It ingores 35% of target's Magic Resist. This increases your damage a lot when u have other AP items.

Ionian Boots of Lucidity - Alacrity gives you 10% CDR and reduces cooldowns of summoner spells by 10%. Now you might ask why Ionian Boots over Sorcerer's Shoes, because you get that 10% CDR which helps you to get 45% CDR combined with Morellonomicon or Athene's Unholy Grail, Lich Bane and Intelligence . I prefer Alacrity, because it gives more movement speed and helps you to roam.

Guardian Angel is nice defensive item which you can pick up if you are dying a lot. I buy this rarely, because you lose some damage and that's really bad since you are assasin.

Banshee's Veil is another defensive item which you can pick up if enemies have AP champions and point and click CC like Malzahar's ult, because u can dodge skillshots with your E, but again you lose some damage if you buy this iteam and I buy this super rarely, Because Guardian Angel is better in my opinion.

Fizz Tips & Tricks

Credit to Redmercy

There is still some things that he didn't mention in the video:

- Fizz's Playful / Trickster slows if you don't use second cast.
- You can use Summoner Spells when you are using Playful / Trickster
- In the video Tip/Trick #5 is outdated, if you use Zhonya's when you are using Playful / Trickster damage of your Playful / Trickster is still casted before your Zhonya's ends.
