Health on Morde = nono. Look at any high-rated guide or talk to anyone who knows what they're talking about and they'll tell you, not just on Morde, that Resistances are superior to flat Health on tanks. Health has it's benefits, yes, but take resistances over health. You should not, by any means, be rushing a piece of armor thats primary component is health, incorporating it as the fifth or sixth piece in your core build is a whole other thing, then you have the resistances to back the health up.

HOWEVER - Mordekaiser specifically - Resistances benefit Mordekaiser's Iron Man shield passive, because Resistances are taken into effect before damage is taken on the shield. You can look up the math and blah blah blah anywhere else, I'm not going to sit here and go over it because, frankly, there are plenty of other resources for that.

"Having the least amount of deaths" is fine and dandy... But personally I prefer to win games, not QQ about dying to achieve an objective.
I do agree that Ghost and Flash can synergize pretty damn well with morde though, as you could flash into a turret, siphon and ult someone who's low health and then ghost out (I've done that before). And they can, obviously, be used defensively as well.

My last paragraph is all fine and dandy, except for one thing. Your guide is built tanky. tanky tanky tanky tanky. You're build like a ****ing main tank. Why the hell are you trying to get the least amount of deaths possible as a tank? Your damage output is miniscule compared to what it could be, now having Ghost and Flash when your building a CDR/Spell vamp/AP Mordekaiser is one thing, having those summoner spells while building tank with Warmog's Armor (which, as a general rule, is a horrid item on Mordekaiser), Thornmail, Force of Nature, Zhonya's Hourglass, Gaurdian Angel...... That really takes out your first build.

Your second build is useless because it's only defense is Warmog's Armor, which, as I've described before, is inherently a bad choice for Mordekaiser because it does nothing to benefit his passive, and resistances are just plain mathematically superior.

Rylai's Crystal Scepter is a highly debatable item for Mordekaiser.... I don't personally like it. It's really not all that great. I'd rather take a Randuin's Omen which covers the HP, gives additional armor, Hp5, CDR, AND still has a slow component.
Frozen Mallet is just a plain no-no. I don't see why that needs clarifying. You're not AD. I've already ragged on HP enough for that message to be across (I hope).
And to top it off, the last item you get is Mercury's Treads.. Why the eff get boots last?

Sorry, If this is another notification or whatever it is that mobafire uses. But i thought quoting this would insure you saw the response to your post.

Thank you for the input, While i would disagree with the first portion this is my first guide and i thank you for your input on the second. My reasons for the defensive are; Mordekaiser is generally considered a "tank" by most people in low elo which is where the most morde players tend to be. I find that being able to take the enemy teams damage better protects your team who may not have invested into a full tank as well helps you maintain a presence on the battlefield, this also makes up significantly for mordes lack of skill as an initiator. I choose warmogs simply because it gives you all the health you will need for the entirety of the game as mordekaiser and adds to the second most important job as a tank, which is making players scared of you, having a mass of health bars increases not only your survive-ability but creates a psychological effect on the other team. Have you ever had a cho goth on your team or the enemys at 6 stacks, with a G.A. and a significant amount of health bars? Your first reaction usually isnt to run up and fight him, its to run the opposite direction. Even if tactically you could beat him one on one. It's his size and the presence that he creates that make him as effective of a tank as his actual Armour and magic resistance. And addressing the last point youbrought up, boots are a matter of personal preference, thats why i included three different types of boots in each of teh guides. It all depends on the player. I personally love being speedy as a tank, and though i sometimes take the merc treads for the tenacity against an ultra cc team i usually like the speed boost much more.

Once again, thank you very much for your input on the guide. Also for including a reason for the downvote instead of judt clicking it. I will take your oppinion into consideration for when i play morde in the future and in building future guides. Thank you.
