I am 00Mystery00, a Hide and Seek player who has been playing it for very long now. I decided to make a new rule set, because new champions are arriving and they need to be addressed. I also decided to have more prebans, simply because the some champions now are very strong and a team can do nothing to stop them. Hopefully it is easy enough to understand. :)

Since the Hide and Seek rules seem to be all going outdated, this new one should make it much clearer.

Hide and Seek is a custom gamemode that is played for fun. I find it to be one of the best custom gamemodes and I am sure you can agree.

Basically, 5 Summoners are the hiders and 2 are the seekers. The 2 need to kill each enemy 5 times as they all have 5 lives each. If they do this in 40 minutes they win, if not then they loose.

- The game must be played in the Crystal Scar and it must be Draft mode (to allow bans).
- There are 5 Hiders and 2 Seekers, the hiders have 5 lives and 40 minutes.
- Capturing the points is not allowed, capturing the storm shield is allowed however.
- If the hiders loose all 5 lives then they loose, if they survive longer than 40 minutes they win.

There are some prebanned champions that are never allowed to be played. I have also added a few of my own as I feel these champions are overpowered at seeking, I will tell you the normal prebanned champions first.

Prebanned for both teams
Teemo Is prebanned for both teams, his ability to place shrooms everywhere proves too powerful even for the seekers. His movement speed is unmatchable and his stealth is too strong as a hider.

Evelynn Is prebanned for both teams, the permanent stealth makes her uncatchable and also makes it so the hiders can't ever see her if she is a seeker.

Kassadin with his ultimate gives him way too much mobility, you can never escape a Kassadin once he purchases mana. You also can't catch him.

Master Yi Is almost impossible to outrun, he moves very fast with his ultimate and his true damage makes his attacks hit very hard whilst also not being able to get out of his range. He is also extremely powerful as a hider as he becomes immune to slows whilst he uses his ultimate.

Rengar Is banned because of his passive and ultimate. Since there is so many bushes on the Crystal Scar it is almost impossible to escape a Rengar, and if you do he can simply ult to see you again. He is also very hard to catch when he spams his passive.

My suggested prebans for both teams
LeBlanc Is made for escapes and juking. She is impossible to catch because of hes Passive, and her W. As a seeker she is also impossible to escape and has a ton of CC and burst damage.

Shaco Is also made for escapes, his Q is very strong and his boxes are too strong as they are spammable and do quite a lot of damage as well as the fear. The boxes are strong as a seeker as they can reveal the seekers and do lots of damage, he is also pretty hard to escape.

My suggested prebans for hiders
Kha'Zix Is almost impossible to catch. Almost every skill he has helps him to escape. His ult allows him to go invisible three times, and his jump goes very far. He also moves fast and has lots of slows.

My suggested prebans for seekers
Nidalee Has insane mobility, spears, traps and her passive. She is impossible to outrun nearly, and you will almost always get caught in her trap which reveals you, and it allows her pounce to get to you at a much longer distance. She can also sustain herself meaning she recalls less.

Warwick Is very strong, when you are below half hp he is impossible to get away from. He reveals everyone to his team when they are below half hp and he gains an insane movement speed boost. His ultimate is not as problematic as this if you get a sash.

Not prebans and why
Lee Sin Is by far one of the most annoying seekers. But the thing is, he is not like Nidalee. If you dodge his Q, then he can't do anything. But if you dodge Nidalee's spear, then she can just spam her Pounce to catch up to you.

Ashe Is also very annoying. But simply jump or flash over a wall and she will be forced to flash herself or walk around. Mobile champions that can dash or jump counter Ashe, she is kind of overrated in my eyes.

Akali Is the same as Ashe, simply jump or flash over a wall and she will be forced to flash or walk around to get to you. Akali does have quite a lot of damage though but if you have lots of movement speed and a dash/jump you can usually get away from her range pretty quickly.

Exception
- If the LoL servers mess up and you all start lagging for some reason as it happens sometimes then there will be NO LIVES LOST during that time, if you die during that time you get 1 extra life as long as you don't buy any items. If you buy items then it is a life lost. If someone kills a seeker that will also not cause a life lost.

Hiders
- Only 2 hiders in the same bush
- Only 1 helper per seeker. If one seeker is chasing only one hider can help the victim, if two are chasing or are in close proximity then two hiders can help the victim.
- You can never recall or enter the base, you can only buy items when you die. An exception to this is if you are attacked when you have grace time which I will explain below this.
- Hiders must say "Grace" in the /all chat so the seekers know you have 30 seconds to hide. If you get attacked when you said it you can recall, if you get killed you get an extra life.
- You are not allowed to buy offensive items at all, the exception to this is Twin Shadows. No other item with such a high AP stat or AD stat is allowed.
- Only 1 Defensive item is allowed. The Dervish Blade does not count as it removes CC and is more of a utility item as a result.
- Only place 1 ward or trap per bush and make sure they are not in close proximity outside of a bush. Caitlyn's traps for example.
- Once you loose 5 lives you have to either stay in the base, roam the outside path where there is vision or stand in the very middle circle where the storm shields are.

As a hider, you will loose 1 life:
= If you continuously auto attack or hit enemies with non CC abilities, the seekers have to warn you but if you carry on after you are told you will loose 1 life.
= If you kill yourself by other means.
= If you run into the base. Disconnecting when it was not your fault is fine as long as you don't buy an item, every 5 minutes of being disconnected you loose 1 life otherwise.
= If you kill the seekers. An exception to this is if they don't recall under 300hp for 5 seconds, if they don't then you MAY use CC to kill them. If you don't give them around 5 seconds you loose 1 life.
= If you are camping inside the base where the base turret can shoot the seeker, you can hide on the path but not in the turrets range.
= If you knock or bait an enemy into the base.

Seekers
- You can leave the base at the 2:00 mark, if you leave early then you must start at 3:00
- You are not allowed to buy Oracle's Elixir pr any other VISION ITEMS until the 15:00 mark
- You are not allowed to buy ANY slow items before the 20:00 mark.
- Only 1 SLOW item per seeker, any item that SLOWS the enemy from any stat or passive counts as a slow item
- You can not kill a hider that has Grace, you can't chase them or reveal them either.
- If you have less than 300 hp you have to recall, if you don't then the hiders can kill you with CC.
- You can recall at anytime, but you can't fake recall. If you recall, then cancel and kill a hider that walks nearby then they get an extra life.
- If hiders are out don't attack or kill them, if they are trolling then end the game.

- Any item that gives lots of AD or AP, excluding Twin Shadows
