My preferred Rune setup for Aurelion Sol takes Arcane Comet as its keystone. There are many different options for Aurelion Sol, but it depends on the lane you’re playing him in and your play style. Arcane Comet suits Aurelion Sol midlane as its easy to proc with each of his abilities.

  

Arcane Comet is a good Rune on Aurelion Sol. He can proc it quite easily with each of his abilities and it allows him to punish most midlaners efficiently. Aurelion Sol having slows in his kid and the potential buy of a rylais makes hitting comet easy.

  

Manaflow Band will offer you a lot of extra sustain throughout the game. One of Aurelion Sol’s biggest issues is his lack of mana. This Rune will help you alot throughout the game. This alongside Rod of Ages later on can help give Aurelion Sol’ a huge mana reservoir!

  

Transcendence is a great Rune for a lot of champions, in particular, it is great on Aurelion Sol. Aurelion Sol thrives on ability haste helping him burst down champions with ease.

  

Gathering Storm is a Rune that helps Aurelion scale even better than he already does, having this gives you reassurance that you'll benefit the longer the game goes on. Gathering Storm is a fantastic choice especially when a Deathcap is built alongside it.

 
For your secondary rune tree, go Inspiration with Magical Footwear and Biscuit Delivery. Magical Footwear works unbelievably well with Aurelion and his general movement speed/kit. Biscuit Delivery gives you the sustain and helps deepen your mana reservoir.

[EARLY GAME]

To gain an advantage in the early laning phase, prioritize pushing the first few waves before returning to base for your first item. This will give you an edge over your opponent.

Additionally, make sure to frequently check the minimap while pushing the wave, and use your W ability to influence your side lanes.

In the early game, it's crucial to gather as much star dust as possible to enhance the potency of your abilities.

[MID GAME]

To limit your opponent's ability to roam and assist their allies, maintain control of the minion wave by pushing it towards their tower, then seek opportunities to roam.

When there are no ongoing team fights, position yourself in a side lane and focus on pushing the minion wave. Utilize your Q and W abilities to quickly move across the map and provide support to your teammates in case of a skirmish.

To create advantageous situations, use your E ability to initiate fights by charging towards your enemies or surprising them from a flank with your other abilities.

[LATE GAME]

To maximize your effectiveness, stay with your team and capitalize on opportunities to make advantageous plays using your E ability. Avoid wandering alone across Summoner's Rift.

As the game progresses, use your Ultimate ability as a means to protect your allies and hinder the enemy team's attempts to engage on your teammates.

During team fights, prioritize maneuvering and kiting to avoid taking damage while using your Q ability to deal damage. Staying alive as long as possible is crucial to ensure you can contribute to the fight.
