My name is Chosokabe, I'm currently G3 on the NA server, however due to coaching from an ex-challenger I find myself in games with a lot more Plats and Diamonds. I AM NOT BY ANY MEANS SAYING THAT YOU SHOULD FOLLOW MY GUIDE TO THE VERY DOT. It's just a plain theory craft.
Typically you want to be able to get as much attack speed on vayne as you can get possible. HOWEVER, that doesnt mean build straight out 6 phantom dancers. no no no, you're not gonna get very far with that. You want a good balance between attack speed and flat damage. I run full ad reds, flat armor yellows, 4 attack speed blues, 5 magic resistance blues, and 3 attack speed quints.
Masteries will depend on who you're laning against so go ahead and look at the match-ups and pick accordingly. NEVER RUN THUNDERLORDS.
You'll want to get your Triforce as soon as possible, so just farm up. If you get a couple of early kills great, if you end up dying first, go back and buy a cull and FARM FARM FARM. Finish off with one of the items according to how you're doing, buy a mercurial and then finish off the other item. Last item really depends on the late game, if it gets that far.
MAX YOUR SILVER BOLTS FIRST. THEY ARE TRUE DAMAGE AND THEY WILL HURT TANKS AND ADCS ALIKE.

REQUIRES A LOT OF PRACTICE.
Don't get tempted by the procs on your silver bolts. they'll screw your farm up immensely if you're just going rambo on the minions. Take your time, last hit each on of them carefully. If you're farming under the turret, just remember the following :
Melee minions can take 2 hits from turrets before you can last hit them
Mage Minions will require you to hit it once, then allow the turret to hit it, then last hit it.
