Start shield if the match up is hard to survive or has good poke like Teemo, Malphite, Quinn
Start blade if you can win early trades with champions like Tryndamere, Irelia, Darius
Corrupting potion is the same as blade but if you are running inspiration second in your runes for time warp tonic.

Tiamat is highly recommended as you lack wave clear with Wukong. Build this into tanky champions. Never build Cleaver as an first item. Build Tiamat or Botrk first, then Cleaver second and then third item whichever it is.

Trinity Force is superior for split pushing than Cleaver. Trinity is good if enemy hasn't got any tanky champions and you need burst damage.

Lethality items are highly situational. Build 1 or 2 lethality items for more burst damage and pick potential. Youmuus is very good on Wukong since he's very slow

Spirit, Maw, QSS, Thornmail, GA are optional. for example if you have a Soraka on your team Spirit Visage can be very good, Thornmail vs someone like Ashe, Irelia, Vayne, Varus etc. QSS vs supression abilites. Maw against burst mages like Lux, Syndra, Taliyah, Katarina, Fiddle etc. GA for survivability. And steraks gadge can be shoved in it's a fine item that gives you a shield

Mortal Reminder can be a bait because it's no use in teamfight if you get instantly killed, if you have a lot of dmg on your team like and ADC and you're better off used as an front liner so sell Ex. calling and buy another tank item. Wukong Q is very valuable for extra armor shred to help kill tanks with your carries so you don't need Mortal Reminders 25% Shred nor the anti-healing if your carries has one.

Build as an last item both are fine options. But do you need more HP or AD it's based on the game
If you don't have tenacity in your runes Wukong can be quite a pain to play because of his easy to predict E mobility and he get's locked down pretty easily so get Mercs. If the enemy has 3 or more auto attack based champions get ninja tabis or if they are generally AD heavy. but If they have good AP damage and AD damage but high amount of CC get Mercs if you don't have any tenacity from runes, or you can get tabis with steraks gadge lifeline tenacity passive or if you have tenacity from runes you can buy tabis.

Pretty much extremely situational and out of meta items on Wukong that can be built but won't work as good as other items.

Use teleport to help out your team or normal ways like getting back to lane, for objectives, potential backdoor .

Ignite can be used if you are forced to fight against someone like Vayne and Quinn

Try to soak exp and never get hit by his Q as it can make for easy dives if you are low on HP with enemy jungler. Buy D shield and Tiamat for survivability

Whenever Darius uses his Q on minion wave try to make a quick trade and back off if Darius is low all in him for an easy kill with Ult

When Jax uses his Q on you just W away and don't take the trade wait for your junglers help. If Jax has no ult and you do try to use it as an opportunity to kill him

Vladimir is very weak early game. Vladimir's Phase Rush has a very long cooldown so after he has used it it's gonna be harder for him to escape your all in and trades. Don't all in him if he has phase rush but do if your jungler is ganking
