Threats to Twisted Fate with this build
|Master Yi||As long as you can get lots of gold cards when fighting him this match up should be easy enough you just want to avoid getting instant killed before you can get a gold card|
|Zac||Zac is not really the strongest jungler at the moment anyway so as long as you stay out of his ult range he should be easy money|
Why Jungle Twisted Fate?
When you first see this build you are probably like: Isn't twisted fate **** in the jungle?, Why jungle him when you can go mid lane? Well hopefully over your time reading this guide you can understand why it is not just viable, but frankly it is just op.
I first found this idea from watching cowsep and since i can't actually find a build for you to use from him, this is my version with a few tweaks
How do you do it?
This video is how i first discovered jungle tf and it shows how to clear in the jungle without taking any damage and the main tips about soft and hard resets and how to use your gold cards for the maximum safe clear
In order to clear without taking too much damage you need to kite the camps effectively, until you get your Rangers trailblazer clearing can be difficult.
The route you need to take is that you start the Krupa so you can get the smite buff to kite the other camps then go to red, then to blue like any other jungles, you can either gank or recall and get your trailblazer. In order to kite the camps you need to gold card whenever it is up and kite the camp like it is an enemy champ, it may take a while to get used to but once you get the hang of it it is easy
Runes and Masteries
The mastery page may look a bit funky but it works well, the points in offence help with damage, cd and attack speed which is very important in this build, and the 9 points in utility help with regen and makes smite have a lower cooldown so all in all it's very helpful.
The runes help with overall damage and defence as well as attack speed quints for maximum auto attacks which means the on hit damage hits them even more
Twisted fates passive is beneficial in every position and in jungle it helps make all the monsters worth more money, therefore if you and your opponent both have the same farm, you will have more gold because of this amazing passive, this allows you to get your core items quicker
Let's start with your q, this ability is useless on on-hit tf as using this ability takes up time you could be auto attacking, and auto attacks are your pure source of damage with this build, using q also drains your mana so it is just a waste of skill points
Next up is your w, this ability is essential for clearing the jungle, this ability allows you to stun champions, minions and monsters, this means that you can kite monsters and enemy champs. This is the ability you should be maxing first for maximum damage and stun duration. By stunning champs for a while this means that you can get the maximum number of auto attacks
Next ability to max is your e, this is because you can get extra attack speed and lots of extra damage on every 4th attack which is extremely important for clearing and when you are in fights
Obviously you max your ultimate at level 6,11 and 16 this is for a lower cooldown and longer distance teleport
With tf jungle you start just like you would with any other jungler, hunters machete and 2 health pots. You may think you need mana potions but you do not, with your w and blue buff combined you will never run out of mana as long as you use it correctly.
There are 3 items you need to hit your power spike on jungle tf, these are the rangers trailblazer with the devourer enchantment, the Blade of the Ruined King and Wits End
The jungle item can also be the skirmishers sabre but the rangers trailblazer offers more sustain and since you will be squishy it is important just in case you take too much damage in the jungle.
The devourer enchantment is the most important bit of this build as you need it to start doing lots of additional on-hit damage and so you can scale into a mid-late game monster
The Blade of the Ruined King is a very important item as this gives you lots of attack speed and you get 8% of the targets current health as damage and it synergises extremely well with all the attack speed items you will buy. The active is also important for kiting the enemy team.
You may see the wits end in this build and question it, well don't. It gives a lot of attack speed and the item itself gives you even more on hit magic damage. But it doesn't stop there, it also steals magic resist from the enemy, giving it to you, this means that your magic damage from your basic attacks, your w and your e will do even more as the enemy loses magic resist, this is especially helpful against a heavy AP team comp.
Final Build Paths
Now is where you build what you want tanky tf really doesn't work so you need to build any of the damage items in this build, however you need to remember that you can max out on your attack speed so do not buy too much
You will need some armour pen so either buy a last whisper, black cleaver or a youmuus
I would only buy mercurial scimitar if they have someone like Warwick with lots of cc just like that you only need maw/hex drinker if you keep having troubles with an ap mage
I'm still playing to jungle and trying to get lots of detail on his jungle matchups so I will regularly update this build for you guys :D
