Right Between the Eyes
Hi, I'm nrj6490 and this is my Ashe guide. Ashe has always been one of my favorite AD Carries, before and after her rework. Her playstyle based around CC and chasing is a very unique one compared to those of other ADCs. Anyway, after a brief stint in the mid game, Ashe is simply put, a late game monster. How does this damage get through by maxing a poke ability, you ask? Easy. Her Q, Ranger's Focus, can be compared to Bio-Arcane Barrage in the sense that your whole lategame kit centers around it. Due to the recent buffs on her Q, it is now easier and more efficient to deploy the auto stacks and to turn your autos into what I like to call "the drill". Now while you may be saying "thats great, but that's really only good for nabbing one target", do I have a show for you. Runaan's Hurricane bolts synergize amazingly with Q. If you have high enough attack speed so that you can set up your Q quickly, teamfights can be a breeze. So that's Ashe, pretty much. On to Pros and Cons.
Pros and Cons
|+ Very strong late game thanks to focus on crit and attack speed
+ Good poke with Volley and great chase with Frost Shot and Volley
+ Great way to whittle down either squishies or tanks with Ranger's Focus
+ Outstanding map awareness due to Hawkshot
+ Great setup for kills/lockdown on enemy champs with Enchanted Crystal Arrow
+ Very strong main damage output through auto attacks and Q-empowered auto attacks
+ Very scary lategame - with a source of lifesteal ( The Bloodthirster or Mercurial Scimitar) and a Runaan's Hurricane, can 1v1 most carries and sometimes 2v1.
+ Good kite/chase due to slows/stun
|+ Very low mobility
+ No engage/disengage without ultimate or without getting close
+ Low damage output early
+ NEEDS to be caught up in items to be effective mid/late game
+ Can be hard to make it to late game
