Introduction

Hello everyone, I'm NotBagool and this is my Quinn support guilde. Quinn is a great support, she has a silence, a slow and a revealing ability. Quinn support is fun (and strong) and if you enjoyed it, be sure to upvote this build.

Quinn may be a very fine ad carry, but she lacks range, so this is why I first considered to build her as a support.

Remember not to use her with Ashe, she doesn't have problems supporting others though.

It's still work in progress, so if you have any problems or suggestions, then comment below.

(My mother language is not English, so considering the grammar mistakes, I'm sorry.)

Team Work

Warding

First of, all as a support, your main role is to use wards. If there are no enemy stealth champions, then use sight ward, but if there's an enemy stealth champion, and he means threat to your precious ad carry, then use Vision Ward.

These are the warding positions.
  • Yellow: Vital to protect the jungler on your team.
  • Blue: For protection depending on which lane you're on.
  • Red: To guard Dragon and Baron.
  • Orange: In order to Counter-Jungle.

Helping

As any other support, you should only farm minions when the ad carry is not in the lane, or you're sure, that he can't get that minion. (For example, because of his attack speed.) This will help your ad carry a lot.

You're a support, which doesn't have healing abilities, (Just like Nunu & Willump) so you should really be careful, and always have a sight ward on the vital spot. However, you have great cc abilities, which will make other supports jelly.

At the endgame, you can help the ad carry more with attacking your foes with your ultimate build damage. (Don't try to be ad carry though.)

Spells

Recommended

I picked Exhaust amd Flash, because they are the meta support abilities, and I think they really deserve the spot.

Exhaust:
  • Good for slowing your opponents for the ultimate b*tch slap double ad combo.
  • Makes your enemy's adc weak.
  • Slow + exhaust combo will make the enemy as slow as a snail.
  • Your Draven will like you.
  • Not useful if you can't get close.

Flash
  • Great for escaping nasty situations.
  • Great for getting closer for your silence+slow combo. (Only use this method if the kill is guaranteed.)
  • Slow cooldown.

You can also use

Heal
  • You finally have a healing ability.
  • Slow cooldown.
  • Debuff.
  • Doesn't heal much.

Runes

I recommend 3 Greater Quintessence of Gold, because it's like a whole new gold/sec item. It helps you get items faster, if your team or ad carry isn't in the mood to kill some enemies.

Greater Mark of Armor is almost essential for surviving versus the angry enemy Draven.

Greater Seal of Gold is to have items even faster, however you can use Greater Seal of Armor if you have trouble surviving.

Greater Glyph of Magic Resist is to survive late game, when you will have a bunch of abilities thrown at you.

Items

At the beginning, we start with the basic support items, 3 sight ward, 2 Health Potion + Rejuvenation Bead. If you're having trouble with your mana, you can also start with Faerie Charm.

Then we proceed to build the basic "core" support build, whereas we buy philosopher's stone for gold/sec and regeneration, Sightstone to spare tons of money on wards. Because we are an ad support, instead of kage's lucky pick we buy Avarice Blade which is also essential for our late game build. Boots come in handy for escaping and keeping up with your ad carry. It's also nice if you can afford an emblem of valor, so your ad carry can regenerate health.

Mid game we buy Aegis of the Legion to have even more regeneration and survivability. Next, we buy faster boots, Mobility Boots for premade or Mercury's Treads for solo queue. After that comes the Kindlegem, which will create us a Shurelya's Battlesong. We can also buy boot enchancements, to be even faster.

Our lategame build will consist of zeke's herald, which is like the best item ever for Quinn support. It will make you and your teammates stronger. After that we will upgrade our Sightstone to a Ruby Sightstone, so that we're able to ward Baron and other desired positions too. Executioner's Calling is a very good item to annoy your enemy's support, and a little bit countering it with reducing healing done by them. Our last item is Runic Bulwark, which is our final upgrade for emblem of valor.
