Hey man, interesting Akali guide. Great job including a number of variety builds and I can see a lot of effort put into this guide. There is still room for improvement in the visual side and that could help this guide greatly. Still a great guide. Keep it up!

Hey adzzb, great guide, looking forward to seeing the match-ups section expanded :). One question, what do you think of using the Precision tree as the secondary tree for Akali instead of Sorcery? I really like the Legend: Tenacity and Coup De Grace selections specifically. I'm mainly looking to use this set-up top lane. Depending on the match up, I can switch the Coup de Grace to Cut Down for tanky match ups. Curious to know your thoughts. Thanks.

Hi Mastersword, thanks for the compliment! I'll be expanding the match up section shortly buuuuuuuuut I will wait until the new patch hits before doing so!

Personally, I do like the precision tree too especially when laning up against top lane bruisers or fighters. That being said, I would go with as it will stack up with the build of , + . Also allows for a quicker proc of Q and faster passive CD. Definitely switch between or depending on lane match up.

I should definitely add this to the guide actually (hopefully I have enough rune slots to do so). Thanks!

I really enjoyed this guide so far and it is amazing, i really enjoy how you know what you're talking about, not just watching YouTubers to see how to play her, i really like how you didn't add lich bane into your guide because lich bane doesn't help very much ever since her rework, although it still does provide some burst there are definitely different items you can get that would help a lot more, so i like how you left lich bane out of this, amazing job dude.

first, I want to say, that I highly like your guide. It is very well structured and contains useful information. I only wanted to ask you what you think about Jungle. I tried to play it and it was pretty funny, but I'd prefer to read some guides (I've only found one good guide).
(And further more, I had some nice experiences with as it grants you some extra burst.)
I'm looking forward to read your opinions about my thoughts, because I'm just a little noob ^^

Hi Astrikas,

Thanks for the kind words, the guide still isn't done yet so i'm glad you like it so far!

is a very viable jungler (weirdly enough). Now with the buffs to she's even more potent post 6. However as you will know, pre 6 she will absolutely suck whilst in jungle.

My recommendations would be go to bot side relatively early and gank. If you end up with a kill that's bonus XP and gold for you plus you will stay on track in levels and can 2v1 bot once you get gunblade. On top of that, an early will really help your sticking potential when ganking.

Also when you hit level 10 (if you have gunblade) you should be able to solo the new Rift Herald. So, rift buff + = massive tower pushing!

Optimal Build off the top of my head would be:
, , , , , (and if you're really fed or the game goes late, then swap the boots for a

Hello adzzb,

I saw your build and I noticed that you don't have neither in your full build nor in your situational items. I am not a main player but I think that is a better pick than Zhonya when you are playing against mages on mid such as and such.
Also, I think that it would be better to take or instead of . Akali is an assassin and she needs to deal as quickly as possible with her enemies. When you have or Zhonya I think you will have enough magic resist or armor.
Just sharing thoughts
Overall, decent guide :)

Firstly thank you for checking out the guide! Much appreciated!

I actually left out on purpose from the guide. It's a great item however I've tried it in a few different games/match ups and it's not as effective in comparison to other items. In most cases, when laning against skill shot mages such as , or , I focus on dodging and an early that will give me enough resistance to last out until I get my .

If we went with the build you're proposing, , , , , and ; then I still think it's viable however it won't be as good as for example a which adds 25% more healing, MR, CDR and further health.

That being said, I completely understand where you're coming from! It's included on the Korean part of the guide :P

Anyway thank you so much for the comment. I will look to include a proper in depth item section that will weigh up why I have chosen the specific items in the build comparitively to others.

nice guide, hope you are going to expand it in the future! What are your thoughts about the Korean build? I think it really looks interesting and I am inclined to try it out, do you have any experience with this build? It looks really nice for splitpushing and just being as annoying as possible.

Thanks! I am looking to expand it significantly in a few days with a whole bunch of content! The Korean build is Akali as a bruiser. So essentially you're able to stick on champions much easier and do so much damage with your autos and passive. Splitting wise, cause of the extra attack speed she does become a decent split pusher, however + AP + akali's passive is better towards mid-late game.

I'm glad you enjoyed the guide. In my experience, the enemy team will always build MR towards mid-late. So if you don't want your burst damage to fall off i'd say stick to void as you do always have your + and to gap close or to escape. However if they don't build MR, then you can definitely go for early and build a later :) Hope that helps!
