Pros

Ability to dish out "Tons Of Damage"
Usually doesn't die with full build
Has A lot of Attack Speed.
Can probably kill the ADC with ease once you pick up Trinity Force
Can 1v1 extremely well with other bruisers.

Cons

A bit Squishier than other shen builds
Won't be able to trade well in lane early on

Greater Mark of Attack Speed I get these because Ki Strike scales very well with attack speed, for huge bursts of damage.

Greater Seal of Armor These help a lot with ranged AD harassers like or .

Greater Glyph of Magic Resist These are the safest glyphs for Shen, and help with magic damage and burst mages.

Greater Glyph of Attack Speed If you're feeling risky in normals with Shen, you can opt the Magic Resist Seals out for these.

Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed These are my favorite Quints for Shen, since I like to play very offensive.

Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed If you feel that you need the extra movement speed, you can grab these if you want.

If you have Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed Greater Glyph of Attack Speed and Greater Mark of Attack Speed, you should have 34% extra attack speed at the start of the game with masteries.

These are the typical 9/21/0 Masteries for top lane, with a twist. You should grab the Arcane Knowledge Mastery for the extra Magic Penetration. A lot of your damage will be Magic Damage ( Wit's End, Sunfire Aegis, Vorpal Blade) so the Magic Penetration helps. And get Summoner's Wrath for ignite.

When farming with Shen, just try to get as many last hits as possible with your auto attacks, DO NOT PUSH THE LANE AT EARLY LEVELS, YOU WILL NEED FARM. Try to Vorpal Blade then auto attack a minion for a nice heal (Usually on my first back, I get a Giant's Belt just for this). Also once you get Giant's Belt you can try to freeze the lane just out of your tower's range with your Feint.

Once Mid Game hits. You want to be split-pushing the lanes, and getting towers. And if your team is in trouble? Stand United and help your team.

You should only be Split-Pushing when...

*You have

Stand United up.
*Have Sufficient Gold
*Have your Sunfire Aegis and Trinity Force
*When their Top Laner or Jungler can't perma-slow you ( Dr. Mundo Nunu & Willump)
