I had always enjoyed playing AP Sion. Its fun, rewarding, and just plain awesome. But it aways bothered me that however you play Sion it always seems that two skills are wasted. Well, the solution has arrived. LICH BANE with Cool down reduction. This is an awesome build, however I haven't seen it on many LOL build sites. I know many of you will look at the skill sequence and LAUGH YOU A$$es off. Im not ******ed, it works I promise you. At least give my build one game... It will work. Also, I not going to sound like I am soo pro, because I'm not. This is AN EASY BUILD. ITS SOOOOO EASY... YOU CANT SUCK.


Just for some stats,
By the end of this build,

Sion will hit for over 1000 with his Q
Sion will hit for over 1000 AOE damage with his W
His W gives him 1000 hp protection
Sion will HEAL for over 800 every time he attacks during his ult after using Q or W.
With cdr that means every 2.3 seconds if done right.
While healing, he is doing 800 damage to the opponent.
Did I mention that 400 of this healing is also done to nearby allies.
Sion 5 shots turrets

Masteries are a standard 21-0-9 caster build. Making sure to hit max mana in utilities to help with you Archangels. Also make sure you hit the cooldown masteries and magic penetration mastery.

Runes are magic pen, ap, and cooldown. The goal of this build is to have you spamming your moves as much as possible so cooldown is key. Magic pen and ap are there as standard caster runes.

Doran's Ring is perfect for AP sion early. It gives him the mana regen needed and allows him to last well into the laning period especially since clarity is obtained.
On the first trip back get Sheen and Boots.
By this time you should be around lvl 7 or lvl 8. With sheen you should be able to one shot minion waves with you shield. LET THE FARMING BEGIN.
Now, as soon as you can return to fountain and buy Lich Bane]e] and [[Tear of the Goddess
By this time you can definitely one shot minion waves and should be using your icon=Teleport to gank and get kills. Using the money from all the minion kills using the shield go ahead and buy Rabadon's Deathcap. Next finish off your first Archangel's Staff. Your next item is optional... you have plenty of damage, so a defensive item is needed. Abyssal Mask or Zhonya's Hourglass are good choices as is the shown item Rylai's Crystal Scepter. Finally finish off with another Archangel's Staff.

YEA, YEA, I know im crazy. I don't get ult till lvl 11. Call me crazy, but I would rather get 20 minon kills a minute. If you really hate not upgrading the ult, get it at lvl 6 thats fine. But have two skills that each deal around 400 damage each at lvl 10 is just amazing. Not to mention that the cooldown is around 5 seconds for each one.
Sion is such an amazing harasser with these two skills, he really doesn't need any others till later. I typically put on the shield in the bush, stun the opposite character and blow up shield all in about 2 seconds. The enemy will either have half their health gone or be severely deprived of minions and experience.

Put on Death's Caress.... walk up to minion wave... press W again... Not hard. Easiest farming skill in LOL.

Learning how to use this properly is what makes good sions GGEEERRATEE.
