Introduction

A quick guide for the rushers based on how to be useful for your team.

Soraka is one of those champs who either sinks or swims depending on the potency of her team. She is a support who works best in the immediate proximity of her marksman. Here she can keep her lane partner healthy with Astral Infusionbefore turning to Starcall to damage the enemy bot lane champions and restore some of her own health. Equinox has serious potential to win trades, too.

Skill Usage

Max the skills in this order: R>W>Q>E

Astral Infusion

Passive: Soraka heals herself whenever she hits an enemy champion with Starcall.
Active: Soraka sacrifices her own health to heal a nearby ally.

Starcall

ACTIVE: ACTIVE: Soraka calls down a star at the target area which lands after a 0.25 - 1-second delay, increasing with the location's distance from her, dealing magic damage to all enemies it hits, Slow icon slowing them by 30% for 2 seconds and granting her Rejuvenation for 4 seconds if she strikes at least one enemy champion.
MAGIC DAMAGE: 70 / 110 / 150 / 190 / 230 (+ 35% AP)
While Rejuvenation is in effect, Soraka heals herself every half-second, gains 10% bonus movement speed when not moving towards enemy champions, and replicates the effects for a limited duration on targets healed with Astral Infusion.
「 HEAL PER HALF SECOND: 7 / 8 / 9 / 10 / 11 (+ 5% AP) 」

Starcall's projectile falls more slowly the longer the distance at which it is cast from. Starcall provides vision of unwarded brush for a brief period. Use this to check bushes rather than warding them or directly facechecking, as this can help prevent unwanted deaths.

Equinox

ACTIVE: Soraka deals magic damage to all enemy champions in an area and creates a zone within that Silence icon silences enemy champions standing on it.
「 MAGIC DAMAGE: 70 / 110 / 150 / 190 / 230 (+ 40% AP) 」
After 1.5 seconds the zone detonates, dealing the same magic damage to all enemy champions within and briefly Root icon rooting them.

Soraka briefly conjures a celestial zone at a target location. Enemies standing above the zone are Silence icon silenced until they leave, while if they’re standing above Equinox when it collapses, they’re briefly Root icon rooted.

Due to Equinox's instantaneous cast time, it can be used to swiftly interrupt channeled abilities, such as Katarina's Death Lotus or Janna's Monsoon.
Alternatively, it can also be used as a trap to prevent enemy champions from engaging from a Teleport or other global ability. When escaping from a dangerous situation, lead the path of your enemy and cast Equinox where they would be rooted.
While Equinox never guarantees a root if any enemy champion simply walks over its entire radius, the slow from a well-aimed Starcall will make the root more likely to occur.

Wish

Soraka summons a global heal for all allied champions. Heavily wounded allies gain extra health.

Use Wish in the early lanning phase to make an impact on allied lanes across the map.

Tips

Casting Equinox beneath an enemy AD caster ( Graves and Varus, for example) greatly reduces their damage output, while using it beneath the enemy support cuts off their ability to use their array of abilities and summoner spells.

Salvation's indicator, which appears on allies below 40% maximum health, also indicates when they will receive the 50% increased heal from Wish.

Equinox has amazing sinergy with any other CC.You can put Equinox on top of someone whose Crowd-controlled which results in 100% kill.
