starting q you can bush cheese in tri for some early damage or from bush close to enemy tower. getting early damage isn't just nice for the sake of damage but it also takes a lot of pressure off of you and onto them early so you can farm safer as they use pots. any advantages like that are nice because lane is not in your favor. junglers will not want to gank you and if you are not queued with support they will not be happy with you usually either. wave clear early and try and move around the map, shielding spam in lane with w and going for all ins at 6. Generally mage stuns can be really nice as you can take the bulk of the spam for them and when they hit that stun followed by your q the enemy adc is gone.

i do not suggest trying to splitpush as sion adc, not because you can't but because the rest of the team usually does not need someone to do that. playing this normally you are extra peel for your team similar to tahm kench adc, but your qs from brush are infinitely better than tahm kench w. Vision is sion's greatest tool as your damage and stun/knockup ratio on q is absurd, and using vision to the fullest can maximize the usefulness of this pick.

I don't generally suggest playing sion adc as it is mostly a pick for fun. I like playing tanks and when I am playing bot lane sometimes I wanna still play sion. Always fun bm to tell the enemy they are losing to sion adc, as they complain about unstoppables and bush cheese. This is a pick I pulled from other champs and sources to make sort of my own, that I play in mid gold draft. I am nowhere near high elo and everyone I play with including me is terrible, but it is a pick I like having fun with. On a more serious side, If your support and mid don't need the peel something like a kench adc would give sion adc is great for jumping their backline, holding the frontline, or filling whatever gap is needed. If you plan on playing this as said before, try and be at least a duo with your support who has an idea of what you are doing, do not blame random supports for not knowing what to do when they are used to playing with a ranged champ that sits back and farms and instead they get fat tank who charges head first into the enemy.
