Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hey summoners, today ill be showing you my teemo build. This is for people who are free weeks, and people who are interested in playing teemo. Hope you find this build helpful.
Go with the normal build if lane is fine, get lich bane if you are doing well and they arent building magic resist, get zhonyas and if thats not enough get wardens or thornmail.
+High burst damage
+Massive map and objective control
+Puts a team that's ahead, far more ahead.
+Strong tower defense with shrooms (Placing shrooms in minion path)
+Faster minion wave clear (one shroom will clear an entire wave after level 11 with items)
+Can split push after Nashor's Tooth.
+Strong against AoE team fighting teams
-Requires in-depth knowledge of auto pathing and where people will run into your shrooms.
-Limited building path options
-Reliant on shrooms / your team
-Hard to make a come back
-If you fall behind, you fall behind hard and can be on tilt for the rest of laning phase.
Good and Bad Laning matchups
BAD MATCHUPS DO NOT GO AGAINST THESE CHAMPIONS
Heimerdinger : With his two turrets, rockets, and his own stun you'll take far more damage than he will. You can begin to win the lane at level 6, but by then you'll be terribly outcs'd unless you're really good at last hitting on the turret.
Leblanc : Dead, deadder than dead. Small chance you might win if you rush negatron and abuse the brushes.
Yorick : Well it's Yorick.
Fiddlesticks : Too strong for Teemo.
Malphite : His shield and his q are extremely annoying against AP Teemo, especially since you're squishy. Bruiser Teemo iirc can wreck Malphite so just go with that.
Akali : SUUUUUPER hard lane after level 6. Sure you can poke her before then, but if she uses her stealth to farm you're pretty much boned.
How to lane against Akali (credit: BlackSabertooth)
1-5 You win in harass. After level 6 don't be too greedy and buy pink wards. If she uses Q on a minion, go hard on her for 3-4 seconds. You will win trades if you get deathfire before she gets gunblade as long as you get the first hit.
Jayce : He kinda ***** on you pretty hard. Don't go against him. If you do play super defensive and build tankier (Rylai, Zhonya's) over damage.
Darius : AP Teemo doesn't really counter him. His dps is too high for you and you can't blind his w. Just play ultra defensive and wait for ganks.
Rumble : Really heard match up to be honest against someone as good as you are. If you're better than them you have a chance.
Teemo : Incredibly hard lane. It's almost impossible to win as AP Teemo unless your jungler camps top.
BEST CHAMPIONS TO GO AGAINST
Anyone with no burst damage, dashes, or hard CC.
Cho : Not even a contest. Poke poke poke poke poke.
Olaf : Poke poke poke, dodge axe, poke poke poke.
Lee Sin : Poke poke poke, dodge Q, poke poke poke.
Shen : Poke poke poke, dodge dash, poke poke poke.
Singed : Poke poke poke, w away when chased, poke poke poke.
Garen : Poke poke poke, keep bush control, poke poke poke.
Tryndamere : Poke poke poke, blind, poke poke poke.
Nasus : Same deal except his w is pretty scary especially for setting up ganks. Just make sure to utilize your blind well to prevent him from last hitting and every time he wants to hurt you. Make sure to keep bush control.
Kayle : Can't really do anything to you. Every time a Kayle Q's you, you can Q them back, negating most of their damage.
Teemo is a very good champion, although very squishy. Hope you guys enjoy my build and thanks to Tekshi for helping me out a little on this build. Msg me or whatever and ill possibly do more builds on free week champs.
