I prefer to let the enemy come to me, using bubbles to evade my foes as the team stacks up to die on my turrets while I shield and bubble all the damage away! 1v5 Heim mid anyone?!

This build requires all turrets all the time. If someone is picking off your turrets, throw some missles, a grenade, basic, move up and drop a turret to kill them. You can kite over your own turrets, engage in team fights on your turrets, deal damage, cc and the ultimate- making all your moves better- is just right for killing almost any oponent in 1 salvo.
Heimerdinger is always at his weakest without turrets and in this situation; FLEE.
Play passive and stay alive till you can set some more turrets and build some backups. It will save your life.

You need ALOT of AP and AP Penn. to make this happen capn.

Your option choices are all situational. Choose the right item for the right problem and you should have a grand time!

The reason I take shield over heal is because shield is better early game and that is when Heim struggles the most. The shield helps him more then heal during his weak point- early game and itemless.

PRO:
Great for farming, pushing and killing enemy teams...
IF they wana fight you on your turrets or you can kite them over them.
Can easily pressure a lane 1v3 and win consistantly with his bubbles.
Intense pokes.

CON:
If caught without turrets or with bad turret placement, you can die.
Getting caught alone almost always means death without an R+W to the face. (Ultimate missile stream)
Long range champions are nearly impossible to deal with alone. You can however, provide support and the ranged poke...

So... This does work, heim being a tank for his turrets... But you cannot move fast enough without using flash to gank. Instead- you can solo dragon by lvl 6 with 3 turrets placed, 2 in reserve and yourself to trade agro with your turrets for damage. Really fast dragons but thats it.

Always instruct your teammates to engage in team fights on your turrets. Alot of the time they simply dont know heimer and need to understand you can win these team fights with ease! Heimer requires alot of teamwork to stay alive- not to be useful. Sometimes its best to pressure a lane to get enemys out of a struggling lane. It can save your adc and allow them to farm in peace while you rack up pentas!

100% important: turrets=farm Harass the enemy while your turrets do the dirty work. Try to last hit if you can but harassing the enemy champ while your turrets are farming is great. Use them missiles rather less often early game due to low mana and the need to place alot of turrets.
