Hello fellow fellow nerds, my name is Azrael the Wise, and this is a comprehensive guide to building what I would like to call "How to make other champs your B***H". It's my first guide but far from my first time playing the champ. I would appreciate any feedback pertaining to how I can make things run more smoothly for all of you. Help me to help you.

Vi is, in my opinion, one of the best champs out there due to the fact that she is an offtank with a heavy hit. She will be the initiator in any teamfight and your go to gal for singleling out champs and executing them with the help of her ultimate, Assault and Battery.

Passive grants a shield
Great for singleling out champions
Great cleanup crew

Cons

Easy to overextend
Weak against ranged champs early game

Passive: Blast Shield
Amazing for survivability in fights as well as a helpful tool while jungling.

Vault Breaker[Q]:
Your early game initiator as well as your escape tactic. Acts as a mini flash. Can be used to move through terrain.

Denting Blows[W]:
Basically a second passive. It reduces armor as well as dealing damage for a percent of champion's health. And let's not forget that it grants attack speed.

Excessive Force[E]:
This will be your spamming tool. For any help on using it, poke during early game and pound it like your future wife in fights. I want to you to make love to this one key on your keyboard for it will be your heavy hitter.

Assault and Battery[R]
The creme de la creme of all utli's. This particular ability is your main initiator as well as your chase. You can use it in a group of enemies to single out the squishy or secure the kill and bend that running Malphite over a tabletop. It makes you invulnerable to CC as well as knock aside enemies in a crowd in addition to dealing damage to them.

Since her patch, Vi has been seen as more of a jungler than a laner. Although she is an terrific jungler, she can be just as good in lane. You want to get your poking tool, Excessive Force[E]. This will make sure to put pressure on champs as well as farm. I know there might be some of you out there that would want to jam your finger into the key every chance you get but that would leave you with no mana and your E on cooldown. Instead only fire one charge at a time making sure to keep stocked on mana as well as to have an extra charge in case you need to secure a kill. At lever 2 you will grab your initiator Vault Breaker[Q]. This will be used to either push enemies into a turret's range or take the heat off a dying teamate. Worst case scenario, you can use it to flash away from dnager. She is very aggressive seeing as she's meant to get up close and personal which means you want to deal as much damage as you can and get out just as fast.

This portion of the game is the most critical when you should actively be seeking out kills. It is the best time to make use of your ult to gank when needed and acquiring blue buff and red buff for and overpowering advantage in a 1v1 fight. Ward your jungle to keep track of enemy movement and coordinate an ambush with your teammates.

This phase is when you'll be hitting like a Mag Truck and taking most of the damage. This is why we've built a Blade of the Ruined King and Frozen Mallet for longer sustain and raw damage. Focus mostly on the squishiest characters since they'll most likely be at the back of the line. In a crowd of enemies use your Assault and Battery to single out the AD carry and knock all enemies aside allowing your teammates to move in and pick catch them off guard. This is when your Vault Breaker is most useful as it will be used as both a cleanup crew and/or an escape tactic. On your downtime try to get blue buff as well as red buff to allow massive cooldown on your abilities and apply extra damage with the burn from red buff. Don't be scared to play aggressively but just remember not to overextend too much since it is a gray line when playing this champ.
