This build has a sole purpose: to make you a nearly insurmountable bulwark between the enemy and your ADC/Mage. Your high armor, high health, sufficient magic resistance, and absurd health regen capabilities make you a remarkably formidable obstacle. Although fighting alone may end in a stalemate (should be able to survive 2, sometimes even 3 enemies engaging you at once), late game team fights should have you spearheading the offensive, ult blazing, slowing with W, weakening with E, and Q chopping the mess out of those foolish enough to engage you at melee range.

Although Iceborn Gauntlets is an excellent choice for Nasus (the item was arguably made for him specifically), I chose to maximize his sheer survivability, sacrificing some AP. This slight loss however has had zero impact on this build's success rate. With this build, I have had a 98% lane success rate, and over 60% game win rate (the games middle or bottom did not feed the enemy into oblivion).
