Intro

Hey, I'm Suavë, a Diamond NA player and a someone who is in love with the Cho play-style. I picked up Cho relatively early into my beginning of League, and he is the only character who I can play game after game without ever getting bored. Cho is a standard top laner/jg who is almost always full tank for team utility, however his AP scaling is actually pretty crazy. From level 6 onward with just 1 item he has the ability to 1 shot any enemy squishy with his Q-W-R combo. However, taking this guy top as full AP can also hurt the team comp, which is why I tried playing him support full AP for a few games. What I found out is that with his Q zoning and his quick scaling, he is by far one of the biggest bot lane bullies out there.

Build

Well it's no surprise that this is gonna be AP items, but only one it solid in its necessity for this playstyle. Your job early game is to invade, pickup a kill for your team, and carefully place your Qs on the enemy ADC till you have around 900 gold for your first back. You're obviously gonna take the support item first, any thoughts of a Doran's Ring needs to be crushed right now. Your team is gonna need wards and you need money, and the support item gives you both.

The goal is to rush Twin Shadows as fast as possible. The glacial augment synergy with twin shadows creates an insane pick potential that leads to free Qs and eventually free kills. Your first item powerspike is insane and allows you to gank other lanes with ease should you ever choose to do so.

After twin shadows, you can basically build however you want. This build isnt limited to one set of items, my personal favorites are there for some times that work well, but this is a build for creativity and as such you can give it your own personal touch.

Laning

So the idea behind this type of playstyle is to abuse the Fog of War and hide in the bushes to secretly get off as many Qs as you can onto the ADC. This not only earns you money from your support item, but it makes the enemy ADC have to play around your constant zoning. Well placed Cho Qs in lanes make it almost impossible for the enemy ADC to farm, and the more that hit, the closer they are to an All-In for the kills. Even the most passive ADCs in the game will respond to an enemy ADC being taking to half-health with one combo, and will be sure to jump in to secure those kills when they're low enough. Once your hit level 6, everything about this lane changes. Your ult is a free win in any fight that is started, and is an instant kill on anyone caught in your Q-W combo. as soon as either the ADC or the Support is brought down to half-health, aim to all in them with your Q-W-R combo and walk away from lane completely fed.

Post-Laning

So the ideal post laning phase is you with a few kills/assists and your Shadow/Boots completed. From this point forward, you wan to find any opportunity to catch out enemy champs in their jg (via warding) and farm up via lane minions while your team is out and about. You want to make sure you have constant control of vision, so make sure to keep their wards down by using your trinket and control wards; aim for a control ward buy each time you back. Always make sure objectives such as the dragon and Baron are set up to take, and try to always be around a teammate in case a fight does break out. You have a huge amount of raw power in the late game and can easily turn the tides of any fight with your Q-W-R. If you can get wards deep enough to get vision on enemy buffs, you could camp jg for the jg or adc and burst them down for a quick kill as well. Plays like that can give your team a huge advantage as no jg could mean a free objective. Just make sure to always keep an eye on your team when you aren't there in case a fight breaks out and they need you.
