Urgot as been a champion clearly underestimated since long ago: this is his biggest Strenght.
Most people will not know how to play against him, and panick while seeing their life melted down by auto-lock attack.
As an Urgot player you can play a lot of different styles and lane.
The Crab does well as top, mid or adc, but you should try to play him as a solo laner, since he is a real bully in lane.

READ THE ITEMS NOTES

The runes you should take are classic ones for Ad.
Dmg, armor, and magic res.
I am quite poor in terms of rune pages, therefore i will give you the main AD runes, but remember they are not the best despite doing well on Urgot.

You will want some dmg:
3 Dmg Quintessence and a full red runes of dmg should be enough

For your resistance:
5 flat armor and 5 flat magic res runes mixed with 4 armor per level and 4 magic res per level should make you able to scale well in tankiness.(unknown embed type)

For your masteries, classical full ad masteries should be doing just fine.
Thunderlord is the best choice for your keystone mastery but if you want to take tanky masteries you could consider taking grasp of the undead.

As Urgot you need to focus on 2 main stats:
Dmg and CD red.

There are 2 items that you should take at all cost:
Manamune and Black cleaver.

For the rest of your items it will depend on the enemy team comp
