Galio is not a support just because he has support-like characteristics. Teemo support? Lol, good joke - he's one of the best KS-ers in the game. And, as the World Championships showed, support Zyra is viable.

Mejai's Soulstealer as part of support main build? WTF. Not a support item. Did you even watch the World Championships? Third buy is Kage's Lucky Pick? No, more likely to be Heart of Gold, based on the completed items. Athene's Unholy Grail isn't a support item, leave it in AP Caster Section. No consideration of Mercury's Treads? Boots of Swiftness? No mention of Oracle's Elixir?

Ghost is not good for Sona. Flash is much better if you want to initiate with Crescendo. Cleanse useless? CC makes a game, Cleanse saves you. At least a C rating but a situational pick. Clairvoyance is A+ but Flash is A? Clarity useless. If your lane partner can't manage their mana you've got a bigger problem. If you can't manage your own mana, you've got the biggest problem. Revive useless. Smite useless - for junglers only.

No comments on where to ward? What to ward with (Vision or Sight)? Nothing on covering jungler for first buff? Nothing on buff timers? Calling ss/mia?

If it's not misinformation, it's lack of information. You have so many bad preconceptions.

Firstly your guide is a pain to read. The words are cramped like hell and the dividers don't help.

Secondly there are several mistakes in your list of supports. Galio is not a support (he's a mid laner). Shen, Heimerdinger, Morgana and Orianna are all not meta supports - they are stronger on mid or solo top. Teemo is not even viable as a support. Blitzcrank and Nunu & Willump ARE meta supports. Cho'Gath and Maokai are only barely viable as support, and Amumu and Rammus are completely unviable.

Thirdly, your runes are almost completely wrong. Double gold per 10 is situational. It's only used for extremely passive babysitting supports. Plus, you broke two very important fundamental rules of runes: 1) never run AP runes without mpen reds and 2) never run AP runes on a support. The returns are generally just not worth it, especially without mpen.
