Champion Build Guide

Whisky's Amumu Guide for Winners

By Zee Led
Introduction
Hello!
I'm Whisky, mostly playing on EUNE server. My current rank is Diamond 3. If you're looking for a heavy damage tank with many CC's and huge sustain, then you are in the right place - that's amumu.
About Amumu
Amumu, believe it or not, has a huge carry potential. If you get some early kills, apart from being immortal, you will do huge damaage. He's a tank, that's actually fun to play.
Pros and cons

Pros:

+2 CC's
+AOE CC
+Good engage
+Strong ganks
+Big sustain in fights

Cons:

-Q is easy to dodge
-Big R cooldown
-Weak early game

Standard pathing
This is my standard amumu jungle pathing on both - blue and red side. The picture doesn't include ganks, because I wanted to explain it a bit. Also pathing should be different if your champion is weaker early than the enemy jungler. You can gank top or mid after 6th camp on both sides. Scuttle contest. On the picture I marked 6th camp as top stuttle on both sides. Why? Because it's easier with my pathing, so you don't have to rotate half a map just to get the bottom one. In some cases, you might be forced to. If your champion is weaker than the enemy jungler, change your pathing. If you see him doing top scuttle, don't approach, go to bottom crab ASAP and try to kill it, before enemy jungler comes to you. Standard recall is after 6th or 7th camp.
Abilities
Cursed Touch(passive)
Amumu's basic attacks cause 13% of all magic damage dealt to the target (before resists) to be dealt again as true damage.

Bandage Toss (Q)
Throws a bandage to target location. If it hits an enemy unit, Amumu will pull himself to the enemy, stun them for 1 second, and deal 80 / 130 / 180 / 230 / 280 (+70% of ability power) magic damage.

Despair (W)
Toggle: Nearby enemies take 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 magic damage plus 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 / 2 % (+1% per 100 ability power) of their maximum health each second. Ticks for half the damage every half-second.

Despair refreshes Cursed Touch on all enemies hit.

Tantrum (E)
Passive: Amumu takes 2 / 4 / 6 / 8 / 10 reduced damage from physical attacks. Also gains +3% bonus armor and +3% magic resist.

Active: Amumu deals 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 / 175 (+50% of ability power) magic damage to surrounding units. Each time Amumu is hit by an autoattack, the cooldown on Tantrum's active is reduced by 0.5 seconds.

Curse of the Sad Mummy (R)
Amumu entangles surrounding enemy units, rendering them unable to move or use basic attacks for 2 seconds, dealing 150 / 250 / 350 (+80% of ability power) magic damage to them upfront.

Curse of the Sad Mummy applies Cursed Touch to enemies after the damage is dealt.
