flash/ghost/heal are way better than this full offense combo. if you get ganked, you are dead.

Thanks for your advice. I'll say i do like the sheen/trinity combo on Irelia but it doesnt really seem to cost effective if your not having a good game. I've seen movespeed runes be very good on Irelia but i will take that into account. Warmog's is an option i put it in the items section a while ago you must have missed that part. I chose madreds because about late game you got a huge amount of tankiness and so you really just need a few offensive items. Madreds gives you some armor not too much but some and lets you shred through squishies :D I chose mercenary because my friend broke down the math from honor guard and its in a scale of 1000. In every 1000 damage you take you take 15 less points. In every 100 you take 1.3 something, less points of damage. So i just chose mercenary because in the end of the game i end up with a crazy score like 10-4-18 and thats about 640ish extra gold, thats a lot of gold when its only 200 per kill + 30 gold. Thanks for your ideas. I find trinity is a bit too pricey and non cost effecient. Wickd (credited for being the best irelia player in LoL history) said he plays it if he is having an exceptional game as in 6 kills 13 mins in. I will probably make a How to harass part. I chose exhaust because when you are running you exhaust one of them. Then the other chases and you E them and stun and run (rhyme not intented). Why not? Because that gives you 2 finishing moves rather than just 1. If you dont like it then dont chose it. Ignite and exhaust in lane phase helps give you dominance with the lowered resistances from exhaust and summoners wrath. and ignite when its on cooldown gives u AD and Ap so i dont see a problem here.

Ok, first irelia has sustain, even without items, and Wits End and Force of Nature has resistances, did you even bother reading most of the guide?

Now to the writer of this guide. This is a good guide, I find the item selection a bit odd at first, but then you still have some of the items that make irelia...Irelia. You have off tank items on Irelia with offensive items. Try building Sheen then building it into an infinity force, I used it and helped alot for me with Irelia. Finally, I actually do prefer to get your E before Q, and of course getting E first and getting your ult when ever you can. I do it like this, because when I play Irelia, I use flash-ignite or ghost-ignite. Why? Your E supplies you with a slow OR stun and Irelia has no escape attacks. So when your getting ganked or something, and you won't make it, then just flash or ghost. If you use exhaust, theres usually 2 people there so your only slowing one and not the other. And how to harass would be a nice section:D +1

No lanephase items, no resistances, no sustain. How do you pretend to win a lane getting Frozen Mallet as 1st item? cmon.

May I suggest you put up Pros and Cons? Its really good to see the pros and cons of the character. I don't play irelia too often but I do play against her, and Ive seen your build on many people :D awesome build, keep up with the good work

Well dude,nice guide overall.WOW!I said that!I can't remember the last time I did that!I have to say a few words to correct you a bit(due to fact that I played Irelia,and just Irelia more than a month):
-Trust me,you don't need movement speed runes,better take flat runes for HP.
-You build good,nice items,but I don't like the fact that you get mardred's bloodrazor.It would be better if you get early Trinity Force or late Randuin's Omen.You really don't know the effect of Sheen on Irelia.Also,one other possible choice is Warmog's Armor.
-Combo should be like this: Bladesurge, Hiten Style after 2 seconds(because of Sheen's cooldown), Equilibrium Strike, Bladesurge.Just be sure to maker 2 seconds cooldown in between casting to benefit Sheen.
-You might want to mastery Honor Guard instead of Mercenary .
Overall a good one(didn't see that in a bit while),so it's +1 from me.Please try out things I've said,it works well.
