To my master yi guide, in this guide i will discuss my new take on master yi in the jungle and how i find he likes to be played, this guide has worked for me and led me to counter my team endless amounts of times...since i came up with it after the machete nerf. .Only gank if you know its 90% chance of kill
.Dont try and gank if your teams lane is pushed as turret will hurt, tell them to fall back a bit before you come so you can get in there
.Exhaust and ghost are great for locking in that early kill and much better for late game then a smite would be
.Dont try and early dragon alone unless confident, you will waste time
.Wasting time is a game killer, although yi is a strong late game champion, dont waste time sitting in a bush waiting for the right time to gank

Start with a leashed blue buff, save both health potions. Use meditate straight after golemns down, then move to wolves, kill and meditate again, do same to wraiths and then use both health potions for red buff. Then move to either golemns or wolves according to which side of map your first gank will be on.

These may vary to individual liking but these are my prefered

Most stock ad runes will do just fine for low elo, but for best performance build these

W is required immediately after blue golemn for new jungle yi

Smite may seem like the usual jungle option but exhaust secures kills on other plays rather than minions which is highly preferred, it will give a lot more successful ganks especially early game. I highly recommend this!

With Ghost as a summoner spell this gives major gank and escape ability and a recommend it 100 %

Smite is the classic jungle skill good for securing Baron, dragon and buff kills, i prefer exhaust for gank ability but most will stick with smite.

Dagger + 2x Health Potions is a fairly unseen start as a jungle, but with the new machete nerf these items are best for maximum amount of alpha strike possibilities with the dagger being built into Berserker's Greaves. Only 2 potions are required as Yi's heal does just fine till lifesteal is built.

AS an AD jungle this will be your goal for first back so you have more sustain for farm.

Once you have bezerkers and vampiric this will be your next goal, start with Avarice Blade for the gold it provides as well as the critical strike chance. With the active from Youmuu's Ghostblade, your Ghost and your ultimate you should be able to hyperspeed for chasing and escaping.

If versing a highly tanky team i would instead recommend phantom blade for that bit more crit, along with Blade of the Ruined King and Guardian Angel this item can be replaced by preference but i recommend what i have presented in my build.
