The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
During the chaos of the Rune Wars, an enormous runestone was lost deep within the Plague Jungles. It remained there, untouched for centuries, emanating a potent magic which infused nearby wildlife with sentience and vitality. A group of monkeys who were particularly empowered by it came to worship the stone, and their leader - a wise sage - became convinced that he could harness its power to make the monkeys immortal. He performed an elaborate ritual, but things didn't go as he expected. The runestone was destroyed, and instead of granting immortality, it produced Kong, a monkey who carried in his heart the strength and power it had contained. Kong was driven by an unquenchable desire for greatness. He sought out every beast and monster the Plague Jungles could offer, eager to find a worthy opponent, but none offered the challenge he craved. He asked the sage for advice, and learned about a legend of hairless monkeys to the north who, with wits and might, had bent the world to their will.
Wukong left, journeying north, determined to discover if the legend was true. He crossed the Southern Wastes and then the Great Barrier. On his way, he happened upon Master Yi, who was deep in meditation. Kong asked him who the strongest warrior in the north was, and Yi told him about the League of Legends. The tale intoxicated Kong, a place where he could battle the strongest fighters in the world was, to him, paradise. Kong asked Yi to introduce him to this League, and to teach him the ways of humans, so that he could be a fitting champion. In return, he would honor Yi by using Yi's Wuju style to become the greatest warrior Runeterra had ever seen. Admiring his passion, Yi agreed, but under the condition that Kong would one day teach the lessons of Wuju to a pupil of his own. In the spirit of this agreement, he renamed Kong ''Wukong,'' and gave him a weapon suited to his unusual nature - an enchanted staff that the young Doran had crafted. The weapon was an unrivalled masterpiece. Guided by Yi, Wukong joined the League of Legends to prove himself as the best, and to show the world the true power of Wuju.
''Only in combat do you learn who you truly are.''
Welcome to my Wukong build/guide. This is my first guide on mobafire.
my grammar and speling sucks, yes I know...I will try to elimanete all mistakes as time by
Wukong charmed me from the moment when champion sneak peak was published:I like how accurate he is to Chinese epic novel Journey to the West
And his ''Only in combat do you learn who you truly are.'' believe me, I participated on several sanda style fighting tournaments and it is really true.
OK enough ******** lets go on actual guide :D
REMEMBER THIS IS ONLY GUIDE, IN MATCHES YOU MUST THINK AND ADAPT!!!
I will try to update this as frequently as possible and make another builds like tanky DPS etc. but I cant promise it will be soon because I have an ***load of other responsibilities such as school, school and school :D
Leave your suggestions and advice in comments down below , I apriciate them but please DO NOT TROLL
Not much tu say here .... I take these Runes/Masteries because I like wukong as pure AD
I will update this section when I add more builds.
Pros / Cons
-good DPS output all game
-easy to harras enemies
-hard to be harrased
-fairly easy to play
-AMAZING escape mechanisms
-vulnerable to CC
-requires at least basic logical thinking (as every other champion)
- reserved for when I come up with anything else ... :D
I start with
this cool litle item gives you needed HP for better survivalability and easier laning, AD for easier early game pwning squishies and little bit of lifesteal to SLOWLY heal your self
ok now you need to know what is the situation and ADAPT to it with proper items selection: I will explain other possibilities here
BOOTS I usually go with because i feel like i need CDR
but if their team is CC and AP heavy go with
is an option too
is what I consider as must for wukong it will give you practicly everything you need
and for more AD and more powerfull ult
if you need more HP then instead Phantom and go with and
I will update this part with dominion items after I try them
I am not going to talk about what the abilities do beacause if you are reading this u can read description of ability yourself from picture :P (yes, I am lazy)
Harrasing combo : Nimbus Strike autoattack and IMMIDIETLY after autoattack punch Crushing Blow beacuse this ability resets your autoattack timer, then Decoy and get the hell out of there
going for kill combo : the same as harrasing but instead of Decoy hit Cyclone and try to stay in contact with targets for best dmg output
chasing combo : Nimbus Strike autoattack and IMMIDIETLY after autoattack punch Crushing Blow and pray your autoattack procs Phage :D
nice thing about Cyclone is that it is buff not channeling , by that I mean if you pop this and you get stunned you will still spin unlike kat's Death Lotus . This does not cancel out the stun !
imo best wuknogs skill , for tips how to use it like a pro check build by UltimatePr0 he really done a great job describing all its uses (there is an ***load of them xD)
I like taking Flash and Ghost because of variability , by that I mean you can both chase and escape with it
You can pick Ignite or Exhaust instead Ghost if you like to play offensive
Cleanse and Teleport are options too
Other summoners spells : just no
I will update this part with every summoner spell after dominion when I try Promote and Garison.
Sooooo thats about everything for now , dont forget to leave comments with suggestions and advice
Happy Hunting :) spinning possibly ...... :D
