Lasso as in any type of lasso...

personally I use magnetic,then zoom in to almost the pixel and fine tune the edges

quick mask is also v effective

One-time render use or just wanting to cut out: magnetic lasso (100 frequency, set desired contrast)

Rendering for later use: Polygonal lasso (zoomed in), can SOMETIMES be used with magic eraser
