How to counter Ryze

[/quote] Most ryze's goes for glacial shroud and an early banshees or atleast catalysm which gives them so much tankiness even ad's having trouble when he catch you, but long range = ultimate counter[/quote]

The problem isn't so much the damage done between champs, it's the amount of farming [[ziggs]] can do due to the amount of AOE damage he deals out on minions. Since [[ryze]] can't zone him out, [[ziggs]] is free to steamroll entire minion waves before [[ryze]] can get about 3 kills, as such [[ziggs]] get's fed really fast and because of hi item lead can do plenty of damage to [[ryze]] directly if he feels up for it. At least this has been my experience.[/quote]
