Does no damage, has no reliable escape or sustain, doesn't even snowball when fed, has to farm souls to progress which means he gets **** on by most top laners. Forces jungler to babysit top which leaves enemy jungler free to wreck botlane forever, causing loss of dragon pressure. If you get Thresh there is no compelling reason to play him top instead of support.

4/10 Weird champion, even when ridiculously fed he doesn't outdamage other burst mages. His passive is by far the best part of his kit. Fun to play when you have Zombie Brand though.

8 out of 10 IMO Overpowered Champion held down by how Clunky he is to use

I think he can be a decent mid laner, able to set-up ganks to his lane very well. Has a lot of utility later into the game, not sure about his damage output nor laning matchups. It's not a champion I get to see Froggen play mid much and when I do, he usually loses.

Woah woah.
You have it wrong. Thresh wins many many match ups at top, and he snowballs pretty well.

There isn't really a reason to bring him top except that he's a ranged ADC. Gets **** on by some matchups because of relatively low range and lack of consistent disengages, but can win other matchups with no problems.

Only because Urgot mid is very situational, and he wouldn't offer that high burst a regular APC would in my opinion. I believe he can wreck a good bunch melee mids though, and go even in most match-ups in lane phase. I've seen Chaox rock him hard on PGL lately, and his kit just facerolls in short lanes.
Top lane Thresh.
