I don't know how you guys at the start of the thread can possibly defend him. It sounds like a fairly clear cut case of trolling his team and ruining the game.

I think pros should be held to a higher standard than normal players. They are held to a higher standard for builds, playstyle etc so they should also be held to a higher standard in their behavior. Like it or not they are not the same as the average league player and they set an example that a lot of sheeps will follow. Ban is justified.

I go as far as to say a lot of dumb***** watch SV troll on stream and go do it in their games.
If I was in a game with SV and I knew he'd been hard randoming junglers for 5-10 games in a row, I'd probably be inclined to want to take the jungle too, but out of self preservation, not out of spite.
Also, tournament players are suuuuch babies in solo queue. If HSGG wants solo top, he gets it. If SV wants jungle, he gets it.

I'm more than glad that a guy blatantly ruining another person's game gets banned. He's had this ban coming for a while now if you ask me.

The SaintVicious ban I can understand, but banning people for bad attitudes, chat trolling, etc. is stupid. LoL needs villains and "dirty" players to make storylines. If you can't have a good vs. evil storyline with players/teams then esports is never going to get popular, because it's those kinds of things that draw viewers.

It's about sportsmanship.
Don't care if they get reported by tribunal or watched in a stream.
