Okay, I some how magically identified the problem.
I found I could still "quote" my post. Reposting it had the same effect, so it's not an individual case. I took a stab in the dark and tried removing my large picture item-build.
That causes the following post to be featured in most recent posts under the post editor when I tried to quote again.
I'm guessing I placed too many items in the builder, and that broke the post...

This makes me sad because I wrote a fair amount on that post. :/
