I agree with you Duff, if you are planning on using the headset for any more than 30mins to an hour at a time. I only notice a slight pain when I use any headset (unless it's horrible) after that mark. For someone that is looking for skype use, which unless it's an all day skype session, they normally don't last much longer than that. I would personally say that I would LOVE to have the headset you have, but I don't have the money to get it, and probably won't for a while. So until then, I'll stick with my 2 headsets(which still have a total price of less than yours O=)

That's just my 2 cents, comfort is first if you are using for extended (30 mins+) periods of time, otherwise you're going to want something pratically priced that still has features you want.

I'm using a Razer Carcharias and I think it's pretty good as long as you don't treat it like trash
