All I know is that as soon as people see someone with a LW they go
"OMG! Must......stack.........MOAR..........ARMOR!!!".

what?

no, it basically means that since you have LW, they have an armor cap

armor gets less effective as you go along, and since you have 40% penetration the more armor they are getting they are getting even less value from it (and then you take even more off)

with tbc, it basically says "well, i can still get armor, just i need to remove 45 from my total to get a gauge of what that champion is damaging me for"

not to mention, with jarvan and what not in the game with their epic %armor reduction skills, LW works better in terms of cutting armor

I'm saying that from my own personal experience....I get LW the whole enemy team starts stacking armor, I get TBC they don't (no one seems to remember the armor reduction part).
Why not get both? lol

Because LW becomes less effective the less armor they have, that's why.

Thank you to jhoijhoi for the sig, and all the dividers in the guide.

not really

that's a stupid way of putting it

the less armor they have, the more you'll do regardless (maybe not more than 3 stacks of TBC at low armor)

but if they get more armor, you're still landing strong hits

Basically, you get less from armor when they have a LW, so i just sell the armor items for health heavier items.

It completely devalues armor items.

TBC doesn't completely ruin an armor heavy tank's day.

TBC is for killing squishies, and LW is better at killing tanks, OR very high damage characters that you can't auto attack reliably.

If you get both, the 40% from last whisper is devalued by a lot because of the 45 from Black Cleaver.
Tri lane for life.

Okay okay guys guys. It seems like to me you are thinking that we get TBC for Tanks. No LW is superior for anti-tanks, which once again I say. Why are you getting anti-tank items unless that tank gets a penta-kill don't get it. Also if a carry is getting that much armor there is something wrong.

Oh and if you can't autoattack a character realibly LW does not really help ya. It gives you less damage then TBC and less AS. I mean if cannot get into autoattack range with without that character just destorying LW will not help you at all.

Now then about the chain vest thing you will just reduce them to their base armor...if they only have a chain vest. Now with LW you will reduce them to one below their base armor.

TBC is a good item in general so if they have a lot of armor why not go ahead and buy both?

Jet is truly the master of this game, and as such we should all listen to him.

What? Sarcasm? Never heard of it.

CLEARLY, you haven't thought about what TBC actually does. Shreds armor causing all physical damage going towards that character to receive more damage for a period of time. WHICH MEANS ALL OF YOUR TEAM'S AAs WILL DEAL MORE DAMAGE. Not just you. LW is a selfish item, ALL IN ALL, TBC > LW. I mean sure, get ArP It'll just be calculated after TBC's ArP. But it's 10000000x more worth it when you have you have 2 or more physical damage char.

Learn to play as a team, jeez. (sig)
