    Best champions to learn

To learn roles, what are the best champions to pick for each lane? I want to get more diverse with my gameplay, but I'm not sure on what are the best basic champions for each lane.

Honestly, learning any champ will just give you more and more game knowledge. But if you're lookoing for "basic champions" I'd say Garen for top
For jungle maybe Amumu, Nunu, Warwick, or Rammus. Tanks like these require failry low mechanics, but are still fun.
Maybe Annie or Katarina mid, or even Heimerdinger as his turrets will do a lot of work for you
I don't play much bot lane, so I don't want to lead you astray there.
These champs won't require too much skill to start, and if you're simply wanting to play a champ in a lane to learn that lane, this should do the trick.
    I hope this was helpful

I'm just pointing out that it's an useful tool for a specific paramater, not that it's perfect. It's definetly more objective than the opinion of people who hate/love particular aspects of champions, even if it only gives very particular information (it's not a literal difficulty meter, just a processed win rate for a subset of players).

Don't always trust the difficulty meter, sometimes it can be very misleading. I suggest blitzcrank for support, he's very easy to learn or soraka if you feel more advanced. Depending on your mechanics skills either ezreal or miss fortune for adc. Also a good easy to learn mid laner is zed because he's mostly point and click but veigar would also work

I'd also like to add that you can use the "difficulty" meter to know which champions are easier to pick up. That bar represents the win rate for new players on each champion, so it's a good parameter if you're trying to decide between a list of champions.

    Top: Garen, Jax, Malphite, Trundle
    Tank Jg: Amumu, Rammus, Warwick
Assassin Jg: Jax, Nocturne, Trundle, Master Yi
    Mid: Lux, Annie, Veigar, Zed
ADC/Bot: Ashe, Tristana, Ezreal, Miss Fortune
    Supp: Blitzcrank, Soraka, Leona

If you need me to explain any of these picks I'd be happy to. Most of these are point and click champions and should be easy to learn. Hopefully, I gave you some variety as well. Good Luck out there!

Just from my personal experience these are the champs that helped to to understand varying aspects of the game while also allowing me to easily climb with them once I mastered them.

    ADC - Twitch (main)
    Supp - Taric
    JG - Nocturne
    Top - Irelia
    Mid - Kassadin

These are just mine, you'll notice all of them are assassins of a sort except Taric, but if you prefer a different play style it might not be the best for you

TL;DR: What I'd do if I were you: I'd start straight out with champions with a high skill cap but great solo play potential. In my not-so-humble opinion, once you master one of these champions you'll have a much easier time learning almost any other one. If you still want to play "easier" (note the quotation marks) champions, any of the ones suggested by our fellows above is fine.

Vayne is one of the stronger (if not the strongest) AD carries in the game. She can easily outplay any champion in the late game - and when I say any champion I mean it. Her deals true damage based on enemy maximum health. Her makes her roll a short distance - perfect for dodging skillshots and outplaying enemies combined with her . She has a hard time early game - this champion, in general, should teach you power spike management and cooldown management as well as laning and trading.

She is commonly picked at toplane and botlane, but jungle is also viable. For more information, I'd check out this guide by this guide by Agoney, which covers her mechanics in depth.

Yasuo is one of the few champions whose 1v1 potential parallels to Vayne's thanks to his kit, which includes a gap closer ( ) TWO knock ups (charged and ultimate ) and a wall that can block ANY incoming projectile effectively denying all incoming skillshots and basic attacks . He is taken for toplane and midlane. Jungle used to be viable, but right now is off-meta (still fun though)

For more information, check out Autoswitched's Yasuo guide.

Ezreal and Lux are both skillshot reliant champions (all four of their skills are skillshots)

Ezreal can build AP or AD, so he can be both an AP carry and AD carry. He is extremely fun to play thanks to his which is a built-in flash+autotargeted bolt and his which has global range and deals extreme damage. He can be taken for both midlane and botlane.

Check out Drakkiron's Ezreal guide for more!

And last but not least, Lux is an AP mage (who I happen to main, lol) which has tons of CC thanks to her , which is an awesome 2s snare which can hit enemies behind a minion and her which slows enemies for as long as they remain in the skillshot. Her insane , AA, , combo melts anyone (by the way, did I mention that has a semi-global range?)

Lux should teach you how to properly zone enemies without exposing yourself too much, combo management and teamwork ( Lux's kit directly benefits her team with cc and a shield.)

This guide by Retribution should help you out understanding the mechanics.

Good luck and see you in the rift, Summoner!

I think, as you learn, you should play a lot of safe champions. Simplicity is very important here.

For top, Garen, or Darius, both have very little in way of skill ceilings. For mid, Annie is an excellent pick, as is Lux, if you don't mind all the skillshots. I absolutely recommend Warwick or Amumu for Jungle, having strong and simple ganks with good sustain will help. Look for safe ADC's - Sivir and Ashe are very good picks. For support, Soraka and Leona are both simple, and direct in their involvement.

    Good luck!

    Top: Jax,Irelia
    Jungle: Warwick, Amumu
    Mid: Lux, Morgana
    ADC: Ashe, Miss Fortune
    Supp: Taric, Soraka, Karama

These champs don't have confusing passives and actives like other champs. Most of these are simple and fun to play. Honestly all champs are good and learning each champ helps you.

    Hope this helps!

I think Miss Fortune would help for ADC role.
Got good laning phase, with a lot of poke to enemy ad carry, as u can Q on the minion.
Late game she got almost good powerspike as Vayne, but i play her more likely, because i'm often sttrugling early game as Vayne.
Late game You got around 3000 dmg on ultimate ability as u turn 16 lvl, and when ahead :)
