Hi,

here is something that I cannot deal with and I need some advice. Back in the days with my team we're used to play against Plat/Dia teams just to practice (as you can learn a lot from those games). And to be honest I never experienced what I can see now in Bronze/Silver. Normally you now players try to focus on last hitting and only trade in between. But what happens is they don't give a damn about CS they just want to poke the sh*t out of you and not just in certain match-ups where you would expect it but like almost in every game. Obviously if you are very good at zoning it can help but I just don't see the point.

I mean I know it can sound wierd but they don't do it on a purpose (not part of their plan) they just want to get kills and don't give a fck about anything else.

Actually when I red it back sounded stupid but hopefully there will be some people who gets it.

If your opponents are recklessly trying to go in on you, just move back and lure them into your creep wave and then fight them. Also, if your opponents neglect to cs, while trying to poke you down, you will get a lead by simply csing properly.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Have you tried picking someone who can win trades or flat out out scale them?
I mean if they're picking someone like Teemo or Kalista or something and you're playing Malphite, late game they're going to have a bad time.
And I can't think of many top laners with actual poke, so enlighten me on that if you will.

Basically MOBAFire.

This. If your opponent is too eager to trade with you, (s)he will most likely end up often doing so at the wrong moments. Make sure to punish your opponent for that.

I could give more in depth advice on this issue, but it honestly depends on the specific matchup you're playing, too.

I'm low Elo and play support.

I see this all too often on the bottom lane as well. Sometimes it is my ADC with this mind set and sometimes it is the other team.

I've had games where my ADC is completely focused on the kills. They attack and attack, often pushing past the minion wave and end up taking more CS damage than they dish out on the enemy champ. No method or reason to it. They don't wait for them to be out of position, or first reduce the minion and then attack. They simply see another champ and go all in.

Last night the other team was doing that and we just fell back to our tower. My ADC was really good at last hitting under tower and we had a 2:1 CS lead so it worked out in the end.

Are you good at CS under tower? Let them push, beat them on CS while you wait for jungle to come gank. They will be out perfectly set up when they push up against your tower. By 1st back you should have the item advantage and can push into them. Especially if your juggle helped with a gank! (Though that is a subject for another thread!)

PS - just a noob, so take this with a grain of salt and see what the experienced guys have to say =)

I'm a low elo top laner (mostly) and I have seen this occur occasionally to every lane. The hopes and aspirations of snowballing out of control is something that they just strive to hard to achieve. Ironic because I see more people get out of control from farming most of the game than assassins do from kills.

Playing aggressive and lane dominant champs like Darius and Shyvana . Darius is really easy to punish people with, you can Q if they are in range to harass them and pull them in if you want to rack up more damage in a trade or going for a kill. Shyv can W to passively trade but she gets a vulnerability period when her burnout is down. Rumble is a pretty good person who can really punish someone for trading with him by setting up his scrap shield and then just using flame spitter when trading.

If the poke/trading is getting pretty tough on you getting some armor or MR would be the sensible thing to do. Investing in a crystalline flask really helps keep you healthy in lane and sustain much better.

I guess just CSing better can get you a nice chunk ahead and as long as you either sustain the trades, dominate lane and deny them of CS or just out-trade them you should be doing fine.

As for why people choose to be trade oriented instead of concentrating on CS is somewhat something I don't completely understand or agree with either. Like when I was in lower Bronze some people would continuously do so even after dying a few times, and in B2-B1 some want to test their power and after they know who can trade more they decide to play aggressive or passive.

From what I see not every champion should trade as much as they can. Some summoners just don't see that they miss out on CS/gold, may take damage from minions and sometimes risk the jungler from taking advantage of the aggression and catching them out of position. If they got the kill and they are like 20 CS behind you they really aren't much gold ahead.

Some people are just too thirsty from all the saltiness in the air; river doesn't flow to a bigger body of water afterall.

My solution now is Shen or either Ryze. In low ELO people don't really play these champs so I have that big advantage to use against them. With Shen it takes a little bit longer or I might need a jungler to help me out sometimes but with Ryze I can out trade them easily or even get a pre6 kill if I am too greedy but after I hit level 6 normally they give up :)

Actually I should have played Ryze more often he is quite fun. I am also thinking about trying out Kassadin at top.

This is a general thing in low elo period. Last night I had teammates run around for 10-15 seconds trying to kill the enemy Nami when they could have just won the game. Luckily they started listening to me, so they did go ahead and win before anyone could respawn, but still.
