As for your experimental approach...I'm too unfamiliar with your style (even after implementing your tuts into my sigs as of late) to even venture a guess into HOW you would approach making sigs differently. I will admit I tried to get Topaz for GIMP, got the PSPI plugin I need, but apparently some of the Topaz plugins aren't compatable even with the PSPI plugin :/ I keep on wanting to try and make my sigs look more high-def but I think the issue, is in part the scale I work on. And I'll try to get the free trial of PS soon. I've used CS5 before and all that, but I'm not as familiar with it as I would like to be.
