While his hook is very annoying (and the bane of my existance), he's very easy to counter and it also could backfire on the enemy lane and help you go in and kill him and the ADC.
Bard
Very squishy and honestly isn't that much of a threat considering that he has to roam and leaves his ADC vulnerable.
Quinn
Before she hits 6, she has no real escape and should be easy to go in and go for the kill.
Twitch
Besides his stealthy escape, you can go aggressive on him during the early stages of laning phase. Remember, you can't block his poison or his "Contaminate" so be careful.
Ashe
Ashe's constant Crits can be difficult along with her ult. Now With her rework , She will be even harder to deal with. Best bet is to play safe and poke her down then go in for the kill.
Alistar
Alistar is a flat out bully. Beware of the Level 2 combo and try to force him out of lane if possible. Otherwise he'll be healing his ADC quite often.
Taric
I don't see Taric as a major threat. Besides he stun and ult, I see no reason for him to cause any problems for you in lane.
Fiddlesticks
There's no support I hate more then Fiddle. His Crow, Lifesteal, Fear and his ult makes everything beyond difficult. Best way to play is to poke him often and force him out of lane.
Annie
Annie. Oh my god Annie. From the absurd amount of damage, her stun, and huge attack range, playing safe is basically all you can really do against her.
Zilean
I don't see Zilean giving you too many problems, however his bombs and ult makes him useful when applied either to himself or his ADC. Pre 6 should be very easy so use that to your advantage.
Morgana
Morg's Spell Shield along with her "gonna watch a movie for 2 hours stun" make her a nightmare in early laning phase. When her ult comes into play, if you're caught you're likely dead. Be careful at all cost and don't take her lightly for any reason. Bait her into using her Spell Shield then proceed to poke her down.
Sona
Very opressive in lane. Watch for the Power Chord, her Q and Ult. She's beyond sqiushy so it shouldn't take much for you and your ADC to get her out of lane or kill her.
Caitlyn
Annoying poke with her Q and with her very long range ult make her a problem. After level 6, engage with Q and try to hit ult AFTER she used her escape.
Lucian
Personally I really hate to play against Lucian as Braum. With his escape, it kind of makes your slow pointless. Deals non-stop damage if played correctly with his passive. Engage works at best if he just used one of his abilities, since they have a high CDR.
Corki
His low range makes it easy to engage on him and even he tries to escape, you should be able to follow him up. Plan your ult wisely because he can escape very easily.
Draven
For you, he's not all that bad. It all really depends on your ADC. You can block his damage with your shield. I would recommend to play passive against him and wait for a gank.
Ezreal
He has a nice escape and really annoying poke. Since he deals low damage and is really squishy you will be able to win against him. Just push the lane early, so you reach level 2 before him and engage him with your ADC.
Graves
Graves is another ADC that shouldn't be problematic to you. Watch for his smokescreen and time your ult after he uses his E. Beware of his ult mainly for your ADC's case so block it if possible.
Janna
A safe pick for Braum as her and her ADC will most likely play passive and if you try to engage, she's just going to disengage. Don't overextend or make a towerdive, simply play careful and engage safely if you got a chance for it.
Jinx
When playing against a Jinx as Braum, you should be fine. Poke her down when you can and protect your ADC when needed. The only problem i have with Jinx is that your ADC needs to be careful and not feed her. If so, She will snowball out of control making not only the lane very difficult to deal with, but the entire game as well.
Kalista
While Kalista's constant jumping make it very difficult to land your Q, She shouldn't be too bad to deal with when you're playing smart. Be careful for you and your ADC not to absorb alot of damage mainly because of her "Rend."
Karma
Karma is a very dangerous support to deal with in lane. You can block and dodge her Q, but at a price. You will lose a lot of health after a while that you can't fight afterwards. My suggestion is that going for the ADC is your best bet even though she will be difficult to deal with.
Kayle
Normally you don't see Kayle in the support position let alone in the game at all. However, just poke her down and you should good. Watch out for her poke along with her ult as he she can put it on herself or her ADC.
Kog'Maw
Kog'Maw is rather easy to deal with in lane. Aside from his somewhat tankiness in the early game, he can deal out high amounts of damage so be careful. Also, I wouldn't recommend to engage if there are a lot of enemy minions.
Leona
Leona is similar like Alistar, low damage but really high on CC. You absolutely can't protect your ADC from Leona, so you have to protect him from the enemy ADC. If she makes a full engage, hit her once so your ADC can stun her and then make sure that the enemy ADC wont be able to make a single hit on your ADC. Sometimes you can make the fight and focus Leona, especially early when she isn't incredible tanky.
Lulu
Lulu isn't an easy match-up but not a hard one either. She has high damage, lots of CC and good poke. She is mostly a really aggressive champ who is used to win fights, and not just to poke, and that is your advantage.
Miss Fortune
MF is really easy to play against. Has no escape, not a lot of damage and can be poked down to oblivion. Just play safe when she hits 6 as she will probably be asking for ganks and can land lots of damage to you or anyone else in the lane.
Nami
Play passive when you have Nami in your lane. While she's squishy, she has healing, stuns, and an ult that slows anybody that hits it allowing to be followed up with an engage. If she uses her bubble and has something else on CD, you should be able to kill her without a problem.
Nautilus
Nautilus is very tanky just like Alistar and Leona. Watch for his hook, Snare and AOE slow and you should be fine. Be prepared for when he uses hit ult as it will keep following you until it hits you.
Orianna
Orianna is like a double-edged sword as a support. While she can harass you and your ADC and provide a shield for her and her ADC, she will go oom the fastest out of any other support. Take advantage of that during the early stages of laning phase and you can most likely kill her and her ADC. Post 6 she will become a bigger threat as she will get more mana and her ult which can hurt and most likely kill you and your ADC.
Sion
A Sion support can be deadly. He's tanky, can knock you and your ADC up with his Q, can somewhat protect himself and deal damage with his W, poke you with E, charge into you and most likely follow up with his ADC with his ult and deal a lot of damage with his passive when you kill him if you're close to him. Play with caution and he'll most likely go somewhat oom. Playing around that is your best bet.
Sivir
Usually a safe pick when playing with Braum. Yes, she can block your Q with her Spell Shield, but when she uses it, that's the perfect time to follow up on.
Soraka
Very boring champ to lane with. The constant healing make her ADC that much harder to push out of lane. Poke her down and play passive and if necessary, ask for ganks.
Thresh
A smart Thresh could be a problem but normally shouldn't be harmful to you in lane. Since he has to play aggressive, that makes you more useful. If you get into a fight, shield his damage and kill him if he goes to you.
Tristana
Bad matchup for Braum. Has huge AA range, can splitpush so easily and you can't do anything about her E. Playing passive and farming up is your best option. If she jumps at you see if you can make anything happen since that's her only escape.
Varus
Very easy to play against. Playing aggressive early will treat you well with your Q. Blocking his damage should be easy even though his slow can be rather annoying. Watch for Post 6 ult however.
Vayne
A smart Vayne is a deadly Vayne. The True Damage (Silver Bolts) turns you into liquid by how powerful it is. Play passivly but not too much. Always look for any chance to kill her.
Veigar
I would rank Veigar as a huge threat, but after his much needed nerfs, he's not at all as bad as he use to be. While he can do some pretty good damage along with his .75 delay stun, he can be killed rather quickly. Play smart and you should be fine.
Vel'Koz
Vel'koz can zone you and your ADC quite well. However, he can only do for so long till he goes oom. The passive and ult is what you really need to worry about.
Zyra
Not a very good matchup for Braum. While she has a high amount of damage, the plants can poke and block your Q so use it carefully. If you have an ADC that can go in very easily, you can follow up with your W and begin your combo on her. Your ADC shouldn't be scared considering you are blocking not only the snare but most of their ADC's AA's.
Hello! My name is WhiteSide and this is a simple and easy to understand Braum guide for anyone who is looking for a tanky, lovable and manly Support. This is my first guide and it is a work in progress, but I will update it when I get the time. In this guide I will explain everything as best as I can to fully utilize Braum to his full potential and maybe you could learn a few tips and tricks while you're here!

Marks
The 9 Greater Marks of Attack Damage really help you throughout the game. By having this, Not only is your kit going to kick out more damage, but your passive and Q will help significantly especially in the early game. Braum's Q and Passive are his biggest damage dealers so by having this extra damage when you proc your passive the bonus damage helps in situations where after it has been applied, it will be so much easier to cleanup the kill afterwards.
"But what about going a "9 marks of Flat Armor" route?" This is also a good alternative. In certain situations where you know before the game starts you're going have to have not only a difficult time in lane, but also into Mid/Late game, running the 9 marks of Flat Armor is NEVER a bad idea. Put it this way, there's no such thing as having too much tankiness especially in this tank meta.
Seals
With so much Armor you're going to build in game, you will need some health to help survive the fights. Whether you're winning them or losing them, the amount of times I've walked out alive between 2-100 health makes all the difference. Besides, when the enemy team starts to get armor pen items, your armor isn't going to mean anything to the other team when they're turning it into some fresh swiss cheese.
